  SMRT TAXIS TO REVISE LOCATION SURCHARGE FOR MARINA BAY SANDS FROM 21 FEBRUARY 2011
  

  1. From 21 February 2011, SMRT Taxis will remove the $3 per trip location surcharge
  for trips originating from Marina Bay Sands between 1700 hours and midnight on
  Monday to Saturday.

  2. The removal of the location surcharge is done in response to LTA’s adjustment of the
  ERP cordon to include the Marina Bay area as part of the Central Business District.

  3. The $3 per trip location surcharge from 0600 hours to midnight on Sundays and
  Public Holidays is still applicable.

  how abt other taxi companies...

  if remove city surcharge, mbs sure no taxi go

  Same tin come back to square 1, but gd for us now MBFC will be inside cbd soon.....

  Remove MBS surcharge , reinstate CBD surcharge .

  Take out $3 , implement another $3 .

  day shift big difference.

  east side pax can exit ecp at rochor instead of marina south. after drop pax can chiong into suntec, no need like now either u-turn to taxi-queue or queue at hotel tower 1/3 or go ecp. now basically nowhere to go after dropping pax, especially 2-3pm when erp is $2. soon mbs will be shortage of taxis in the daytime as well.

  hmmm..... like tat us nite shift also alot to play frm 5-8pm liao.....

  evening erp gantry on bayfront ave. between mbs and suntec in operation. part of the chinatown cordon. same rate as the one on eu tong sen at central.
