January 2012 , government levy $0.20 per kg , meaning 22kg daily , cng cabbies need to pay $4.40 daily extra ?
hmm ....... now $1.44 per kg , next year $1.64kg .

For current CNG prices , for some TransCab CNG drivers , some very discontented , now with such news , these gave them reasons to throw back the keys once contract up !
Then who worry ?

The amount of new taxis they bought and lease , once throw back to them , they need the whole of CWT Multi storey carpark to content this lot !

Doubt many will throw key. Throw and where can the TDs go? Going to CDG one will face even higher rentals and btw the diesel at 0.99 cts is starting to kill me already. Take Silver , SMRT or SMART also die cock stand. Everywhere costs also going up.
Its called LPPL. Who ask us to be at the lowest level of the food chain? just too bad.

Now they have over 1800 of CNG taxis . Just 10% of those to tender everyday to TransCab , good enough to kill them .
Good that SMRT and Premier coming out with Chevrolet .
This will put some pressure on TransCab .
Mind you , all those Wish taxis still under financing by DBS .
Let them worry , we need not worry .
The most we worry it's how we can hit our 3 digit target .
Their problems is million dollar problems .

i have enough white hair , i dun want fuel cost issue to make me have more white hair .
My philosophy is , be it diesel , petrol or cng , it just another expenditure for running a business .
Hawkers also got hike issues , flour , rice , eggs , pork , beef , all up prices recently .
Coffee also up $0.10 .
Some bite the bullets , some just remain .
Why ?
Because overall , they still make money , made more ot made less nia ....
Same to taxis , whatever price they set , just another expenditure .

some stop running long distance to save fuel cost .
some go where Q until where , save running cost .
But i do the same shit everyday .
My calculation is ........ if my target is eg , $260 per shift , just an example .
I just need to find one more $10 , i will still hit my usual daily income target .
No changes between my strategies .
