STOMPer Pink wonders if it is time to phase out the
older models of taxis on the road. The fares charged are similar, but
the money spent is not worth the bumpy ride, she says.
Writes Pink in her email (Feb 25):
"Isn't it time to phase out these 'lao pok cars'?
"These are bone shakers and should have been taken off the roads!
"The fare to ride in this 'lao pok car' is similar to the better Toyota Crown models...
"Not worth the money for the bumpy ride to my destination!"
huh ? still on the road ?
should have be in the scrap yard years ago .
it's so common now when road side street paxes delay in flagging for me , until Crown and Cedric went by them .
I am not a cruel guy , i put "BUSY" .
Give them a chance .
