Just got a call from tanglin police station that a pax report me. He said he dropped his phone on my cab and when he call it rang twice before it is being cut off..
RIDICULOUS!!! after i dropped him, I pick up another pax... and 3 more other pax before i got a call from comfort asking me to check whether is his phone in my cab!!! NO SUCH PHONE!!!!
Anyone has got such experience before?
It depends on what time u drop him off and what time he make a call.

Don't worry ... you never take the phone, so just let police do their job.
Besides his own words, your pax got no evidence that the phone was left in your car in the first place.
Even if he did, maybe one of your pax who you picked up later took it, so once again not your fault.
Proof , or image , or technolgy that can prove you are the culprit ?
If nothing , talk so much for what ?
1) A pax "got all d rights" 2 make a police report (true or false nevermd, coz he might have argument w u inside d cab)
2) U can say your own reason u dont know abt it (true or false nevermd)
3) Taxi meter got "record" all ur trips, including d time u pick up ur next pax
4) If dont do anything wrong, dont scared
5) Let d police do their job, they r highly paid
6) When ur innocent, u can continue sleep well
ts, if u did not take the mobile phone, dont be too scare by police reports.

nothing much then a lost report can be filed.
If he know where he drop it, then he would have pick it up !!!
Obviously he just have a hint - cannot be proven. It is as likely he lost it some where else.
maybe inside the phone got home made video ????

2nd case: Cheap charlie (Chow-ang-moh) left his black berry. The phone rang just mins after I dropped him. Lucky again, I didnt pick the next person who might take the phone. I kept the phone till next day and return to CDG at SM. why? That joker wants me to send to him immediately. saying is very urgent and treatened me he may report to police if I dun. wat a hell? you think I not perturb and flabbergasted?
I called him the very next day early early morning 6am to ask him to collect from CDG. This was the message: " Hello, good morning Sir! I was the taxi driver who got yr phone. I'm so sorry. I forgotten about it at all. you can collect it at anytime at CDG HQ lost & found. OK? Thank you & have a nice day! Chow!"
3rd case: Pax left the whole fucking luggage at the boot and go upstair! WTF! 2 luggage somemore.... not related to this topic.

I ever left my bag in the car boot.
And manage to call the call center to trace the cab.
About an hour later, he came back to return the bag.
I gave him $20 for his kindness and help.
He happy, I happy.
I am sure there are commuters that demand their things to return to them but never show appreciation or give some tips to the driver.
