My relief just got into an accident and the fault lies with the other party. My relief needs to send the cab into company's workshop and it will take about 2 days,so he said he will pay me the 2 days rental first and I should refund him when company refund me.
The question is,he will claim loss of income too and heard that it is $80 per day and that the company will give it into my account as well, so my question is...do i took half of the loss of income or everything goes to him as well?
Seems getting into accident is easy money leh. No need pay rental still got loss of income,right? But me hirer got nothing,only extra work of going down to sign out the vehicle from workshop :(

Your relief does not need to pay you rental. The moment your taxi goes into Loyang workshop, downtime will be calculated. This matter CDG quite ok, they won't deduct your account. If 100% other party's fault, CDG will pay ONLY the hirer $80/day for loss of income. Relief gets NOTHING. Accident reporting you do not need to go together will your relief. Once your taxi ready, workshop will call you up to collect it, normally from Loyang. If your relief is driving night shift, and collection is late afternoon, can ask him to collect taxi and start work from there (give him taxi money to go there lah). Save everbody a lot of time. Once they call you or sms you, you have 1 hour to collect your taxi. Downtime will stop after that, so cannot take your own sweet time to collect. Money will be deposited into your UOB account in around 2 weeks. Share with relief or not is your choice. Your relief can sue the other party for loss of income, medical expenses etc. Everything must have evidence. This one you have to pm kinwashi. His friend knows how to do.
My buddy had the same thing happened to him 3 weeks ago. His relief kena whacked in the back. Taxi backside crumpled, 7 days in workshop.
If it is your relief's fault, he pays CDG $2K, taxi downtime no need to pay rental. You also don't get anything.

So just for curiousity,if relief is at fault and company not paying hirer loss of income, then how? Hirer eat wind for that period of time huh? Can only blame his luck?
