[Notice] Qing Ming Festival

EXPECT crowds and traffic congestion this Qing Ming Festival, warns the National Environment Agency (NEA).
This year's Qing Ming falls on April 5, a Tuesday, and the NEA expects a crowd at the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery and the four government columbaria at Mandai, Yishun, Mount Vernon and Choa Chu Kang on this day as well as the Good Friday holiday on April 22.
Starting from March 27, those going to pay their respects can expect things to get a little congested every Sunday until the end of the Qing Ming period.
The cemetery and columbaria will open from 6am to 7pm on the peak days mentioned above, and 7am to 7pm on all other days.
NEA advises members of the public to utilise public transport, especially during peak periods. A vacant lot has been converted into a temporary carpark at the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery. If it is full, drivers can park along the left hand side of the main roads.
NEA has also increased the number of drum bins and burning pits and urges Singaporeans to use them when burning offerings, in order to the cemetary clean.

If u don't wanna go to all the jam road or Cemetery, just st pick those wearing red colour or very colorful dress. I guess no body will wear big red go sweep tomb. White shirt black short...hehehe....good luck...

I went to sim ming (zhi tu an temple) after 930am, on the way from cte = lorrnie = sim ming, not much a jam. But still there are crowd in the temple.
I would definately dont want to go on weekend.

last weekend already started liao, i went mandai crementorium 2 times, some are real earlier birds, got one is a chio widows going to pray to her late husband, this type i usually like to take.
