Raising fares or surcharge do not imply that we earn more, it just to offset the fuel cost, and this will go down into consumer pocket. However, peoples taking taxi will alway hv a image that TDs are earning more, that is not true, unlike kopitiam or noodle sellers, when they increase their prices, the cost goes into their pocket, our fuel surcharge increase goes into govt fuel tax and some oil refineries and producing countries.
