some of my classmates already sign up with premier and trans as hirer…good luck to themi think u need to test out first lah... on whether taxi driving is suitable for you in the long run, be relief 1st dan later on decide whether to continue with relief or be hirer... if you straightaway jump into OMO with a new Wish, i believe you will be damn pressurized by the overheads since before you start driving taxi, you alr have thots of "what if cannot cover rental"? this shows your lack of confidence.. so start off with relief with lower overheads, which makes it easier and less stressful for you...

Currently i using , in fact many here using it , quality as close as 3m .
Don't buy from TransCab that fellow , damn lousy quality , i threw away , the ex-hirer left it inside my cab , but i throw it away and bought a new one .

dunno why he sign up Wish when there is a ready Merc for him .Anyway , since he signed up , at least that $565 can help a bit .
Other company where got give hirer $565 .
But we all get $665 .
New Wish all get cut .
Mind you , if ur rental not paid promptly , u'll lose that $565 .
So make it a habit to settle rental .
Take it as an investment .

Starr his hirer stay near Telok Blangah , still driving now i guess .

I applied for new wish not sign up. I have decided to relief. Most likely merc. If merc not available, there is another wish hirer looking for relief in my area. -

Recently found a job Wanted to drive cab as relief on weekend But my job requires me to travel to Asia pacific, usa n europe So lan LAN cannot even drive pt I will treasure my vocational licence In future may still need it. Hereby, I would like to extend my gratitude to the taxi Bros here especially poolman,komade, zero 5 for bringing warmth n earnest contribution to the taxi community. Next week I will be in HCMC for biz trip...komade I will help u to shoot some bullets there....

All the best bros, working is the best if you enjoy it. Vocational licence can act as a backup. I am also working happily, and also need to travel for meeting often, the latest one to Seoul, but I rejected it as it is school holiday, I drive Taxi few times per week, not only just to utililise my VL but also can meet different type of peoples, enjoyed it very much.
Previously I am quite worry about losing my job to FT or the younger ones, so, I felt not much confident in myself, alway kowtow to my boss, but TD had make me see the broader side of life, today, i go work with confident and able to meet up with all kind of peoples, and olso talk openly with my boss in discussion and argument over work, Taxi driving somehow makes me look at thing at a different dimension and certainly a more colorful life instead of the usual 9 to 5 job.

Can I find out transcab using which bank for giro deduction? And can I go for installment plan for the deposit? Btw, wat is the current rental for 1.8 n 2.0 wish respectively... Ali-ga-to!!!

Hi Komade, actually my POSB acc freeeze by the bank cos O$P$, now left with UOB can use. So can make arrangement with company do deduct from UOB or using spouse POSB? Wat is the deposit for transcab btw? -

Thanks Bowah... With this job, i travel 50 - 75 % of my time. But good thing is my company has a policy of us travelling on week days only, unless I travel to USA or europe. Therefore I can still drive on weekend :) Objective is to meet more ppl and have fun driving a cab. But my concern is that some weekends I may need to finish some uncompleted work (emails, report etc). Therefore I could not take up a permenant weekend relief. Anybody knows where to get walk-in rental kiosk whereby they rent out on 12 hrs basis. I know one near redhill market / premier taxi location. Exact location I don't know. This type of arrangement suits me best; no deposit, free n easy... Anybody who knows the redhill location to rent taxi, pls kindly let me know. Appreciate.
