Hope PTC review the current taxi fare and make a quick change that benefit TDs. A small increment also good.
Then more SG people will want to drv and there's no room for foreigners...

At this present moment, it will likely not happen because almost all taxis in taxi companies are rented out and taxi companies are enjoying full harvest.
But don't assume it will never happen. When economy gets bad, taxi drivers will start throw keys. They will start to offer again. $500 reward for introducing a new hirer. If that still fail to attract new hirers, then taxi company, in particular SMRT will apply what they did to their bus operation. Bring in batch of foreigners, train them to be taxi drivers.
Fellow taxi bros and uncles, do not let this happen. You have to voice out. The era of kpkb in coffee shops and diesel kiosks is over. It is not effective anymore. You all here are new generation of taxi drivers. Your voices over the cyperspace carry weight. Our prime minister said he is willing to listen.So is the transport minister and those officers from the taxi operation.
We are not anti government, not anti pap or anti singapore.We just want to protect our rice bowls. We will speak for the goodness sake of taxi business.We will speak against any threat to our livelihood.

Hopefully Taxi Driver dun become a Transport Minister or ministar, if he become, we sure die, cos he knews the in and out of our tricks.
Alots of time, as a worker, he tends to speak for workers, but once promoted to manager, his style changed.
