  roughly: somebody already recruited a batch of people familiarizing them with right hand drive and local routes and language and lingo. once these people are launch out, their priority is to pick up passengers that flash a certain charge card. maybe also a special booking hotline. this charge card something like store value, maybe can buy or topup at airport or major tourist or shopping locations. every trip will auto deduct so can cashless. can store value long time or can refund back remaining value when return. then hired driver will need to meet daily quota (not sure by numbers or amount) and can entitle profit share. but still early

  SMRT already employ some chinamen to coach them routes , and they can only ply their trade base on accepting of cashless payment . Base on jobs appearing on their MDT , and accept cashless only .

  If i am a chinaman ..... i will only take those with cash ... and sent home to china .

  No need pay rental , and diesel .

  Why not ?

  Singapore companies stupid , right ?

  I guess it will not from Comfort , let's hope it will not from Comfort .... they never stuck with any taxis , so why worry ?

  I also guess it will not from Smart , TransCab , Premier and Prime , because this small companies do not have strong customers base .

  Only SMRT capable doing such thing .

  Believe me .

  A few years back , Tan Kin Lian said online that "certain" taxi company trying to employ such people doing so ..... LTA and MOM said no .
