my friend who is passenger, took cab from mbs with surcharge, then just slightly after he got in and started the journey, his friend call him so he tell the driver to go over rws pick him up, then go clementi. he say theres 2 location surcharges is it?

actually he answered, u cannot press 2 location surcharges, meaning no surcharge for the second location, but if I am the TD, I will nicely tell your friend I am changing shift, no time to into Sentosa, if not, why not I drop him somewhere, paid the fare and go take another taxis. -

1. tua kang (Exaggerate)
2. Blowing the trumpet
3. Sarcasm

I dunno Comfort , but TransCab can be done .
Location surcharge like no restrictions .
Unless City Surcharge .

thanks poolman. its not me, its actually friend's friend who took cab, but ask thru my friend ask me. yes i think should be sunday because just heard. so the 2 location surcharges can apply and stack if extra pickup points mention at midway? i tend to agreed with you, this location surcharge is like a bit not clear cut and can seems like prone to abuse. lets just for discussion only, what if passenger board mbs, go rws, pick up someone, drop at airport, midway drop off or pickup at singapore expo, then go back mbs?? -

It isn't too difficult to hands on to find out the truth
1. location surcharge can press any amount
2. you can't press city 3.00 and location surcharge at the same time (in this case, MBS is city surcharge, RWS is location surcharge)
3. like wise if you pick up ppl from airpot and he wanna go orchard fetch another friend to somewhere, only airpot surcharge applies
4. if can press surchage multi times and pax wanna pun loti in the city then huat lor , hahah

ok first let me try to answer that by learning this way from someone: you try to press 4 location surcharges and tell everyone whether can or not.....erm sorry dont know why but i dont think i can be a smart parrot.

i wish someone would say theres some stupid laws that decree people cannot discuss about those same stupid laws, like cannot dispute location surcharge no matter how many times passengers run in circles at their whimp or cannot discuss something to keep forum safe. oh wait. my wish was already granted! bless me

if there is no counter, and if i am passenger and i see this loophole, next time when opportunity arise, i will try my luck see if i can exploit it. if that case, i rather this thread be removed, so mod and admin pls delete all this. sweeping under the carpet or reciting from textbook is easier job.

regulations wise can only collect the location surcharge at the point of boarding.
