Hi to all, Im new here and would like to ask anyone here knows if i can drive a taxi without having to fork out the $1000 deposit.
If im planning only to drive part time, is the $1000 deposit a must? Anyone one here can enlighten me on this? Coz i saw in the newspaper, someone posted saying no need deposit.

Ya , that type ..... toyota crown .
Normally comfortdelgro's rate for toyota crown $44 max .
This advertised taxis are mostly from smart crown & Silver crown , slightly more expensive $48 .
This smrt and silver cab has got nothing to do with smart and premier .
It's a 3rd party taxi rental sub company .
But heard must buy insurance , dunno .
This 3rd party kiosk , rent taxis from SMART and Silver , base on special rate , they paid upfront full month rental .
And deposit .
Then they release it out on daily basis .
Not only rental pay more , diesel also more expensive because drivers from this kiosk has got no subsidise like CDG .
So have to go Esso or Shell like that ....

Also like to bring up .... due to the nature of this sort of vehicles driven by different drivers everyday , it's badly maintain .
Dirty , cockroach , dusty , smelly ...
I for one cannot accept to drive in a dirty cab .
