Picked a indonesian guy fm UOB plaza to HardRock hotel to pick up his airline ticket and back to UOB plaza. Told him that he need to put cash (same as meter amount) as assurance before getting down.
He was in a hurry becos he needs to apply his visa to China before the office close at noon (as he explained to me earlier).
Upon open the door, he get out and quickly grab one of the bill from his wallet to pass to me without really seeing what bill. Its a $1000 Singapore Dollar bill! He turned his head and ran to inside the hotel.
The 2 bell hob looked and almost stunted by it. They were sharp....
When I returned to him the bill, he was surprised that he gave me that bill.
I told him that it was his lucky day.
Any bros out there, this kind happened to you before? care to share?
These indo currency is in big numbers bill, maybe they used to it and forget about SG dollars hor?
There was once a lady mistakenly gave me a $100 bill for a $10 bill. Both are red. easily mixed up.

Wah... At an average of 20,000 rupiah per trip, 200,000 rupiah is a very good payday for him. For me, I'm still confused by the many 000s on the rupiah. Normally, I just pass my stack of notes to my "good friend" and she will settle the payments for me.
