DAY 120 OTR
Interesting Trip of The Day
first trip kenan istana... tot can go in... end up go into the gate is the drop off point liao... ha ha...
Event of The Day
saw a pte car the bonnet kenan crushed quite badly by a delivvery van outside taka... took almost 30 mins from cine leisure traffic light to taka drop off...
Interesting Pax of The Day
ang mo ger board liao... ask to go sixteen storey... impressed... nowadays.. think some younger drivers wont know where is it... still got ten storey at two different places...
Nice Paax of The Day
taka to AP... pax gave quite a nice tip coz pax says like the way khoon drive... steady and never anyhow cut here cut der... never anyhow jam break... say veri long never hav such a smooth taxi ride liao... hee hee...

3 trips nia... obk... haiz... evening peak always difficult for khoon...

last pax off in batok... go find transcab disel pump... round here roud der cannot find... end up follow one crown den manage to find the ulu ulu place... toilet der same condition as defu!
wash car liao cannot decide want park at my place or base... end up round here round der again den decide park back at base...
otw see pax with luggage... hmmm... tempted... but discipline... closed shop means closed shop... u ever see MACs or KFC closed shop liao still sell food?

my midnite 1 hit rate is 90% even kenna bedok these few weeks

yah man... both go in AP at the same time 4:30am... komade 4:52 out liao... khoon still gong gong Q at wrong terminal... ha ha...

17 hours straight...
ha ha... kenan scolding from jlkl... no discipline... dun know how to stop work...

pax stand at junction of river valley and oxley rd board... want take short cut tru oxley rd... cannot mah... beside khoon cab already moved forward pass the entrance... coz got another cab behind want turn in...
kpkb say she resident 49 years there... y cannot cut tru the road blah blah blah... end up she ownself get down...
Happening of The Day
drop taka at door side... no chance to join taxi Q...
kay kiang tot can straight turn out from the left lane at the exit... end up lane closed...
behind car keep horning... and even if the next lane give way... that is IF anyone will give way... car position no way to turn right liao...
end up lan lan go into carpark make one round come out... 3 mins... $2.57...
taka driveway and taxi stand is voted the most lousy design...
Nice Pax plus Best Trip of The Day
late afternoon drop beauty world... mdt flash advance call from upp timah to location... but never take coz timing too far off...
after two more trips end up in cck... same call flash again... hmm... tis kind of advance dun take 'dui bu qi' pax... press liao... less den 1min call center call to confirm... say regular pax...
swee swee reach pick up point 5 mins early... one of the nicest pax khoon ever taken...
the way pax suggested is longer... but prefer to go tis way coz less traffic...
pax going to location to conduct solemnization... tru his conversations... he really understands the difficultties TDs face... and the problems tat those caught in the crack faces...
end of trip gave quite a nice tip... hee hee...
Closing
after wash car... sudden decide to buy a bottle of wax to wax the cab...
spent half an hour doing it... hee hee...

idle day...
0715 den start engine...
0945 break with jnyt and jlkl at queen st...
1300 put busy fetch godson from town to woods...
1345 went smrt look for trainers drink coffee...
1415 one trip woods to town...
1445 town to serangoon
1510 change shift TPY...
1530 closing at spc
1545 base... clean up the car...
1600 coffee with ck
1615 off work lo!
btw... if u see a "change shift casino" sign on a red chevvy... tat is our cab... hee hee...

Worst taxi stand is MBS tower 1 lah.....KNN spend so much money on the IR taxi stand is a joke...

bro u wan play AP make sure ur hp got moblie plan then u knoe wat time
the planes land then u see the Q u knoe liao, like sun i go T1 at 0140am by 2am
im out liao. then 315am go T3 by 340am im out liao.......

Officially 4 Months OTR...
but these few days obk... wrong strategies... wrong moves... resulted in too much downtime affecting collection...
but take it all in stride... reflected a bit... realised tat might be getting complacent... thus making silly mistakes and tactical errors...
but always there will be a better tomolo...
koon veri fortunate to met a wonderful group of driving buddies...
jlkl... jnyt... hammer... ep... skip... tuna..
komade - onli available before sun come out... 7am onwards disppear from radar liao... ha ha.... and he always responds to khoon's postings... hee hee..
gavin77 - onli available if he drives day coz he usually nite driver....
eric - course mate not in our forum but a veri reassuring buddy..
plus recent addition of bluerubbishkia...
ck... a selfless and accomodating guy... imparted knowledge and skills without reserves... if there is a mentor system in our trade... den khoon dare say ck is one of the best mentor... owe him too much liao...
of course poolman - grand advisor!
driving in the day with these fellows adds that bit of spice..

DAY 125 OTR - SEMI OFF DAY
0400 - 0600
advanced booking near base to AP passed on by contacts... Q T3... slow slow slow Q... 0555 - finally out from AP...
0700 - 0930
0645 drop amber never chiong ap... a bit wasted...
chiong one red light... mind know tat hav to stop... but dun know y legs never response... almost brush with another car... bey heng nothing happened... think need a break...
one trip from SK to tiong bahru... pax say rushing for time... ask can reach in half an hour anot... completed the trip in 27mins... never speed... never beat red lights... plus slight jam on CTE... swee hor?
0930 - 1030
break with hammer... jnyt... skip... at havelock...
1030 - 1100
do one trip nia...
1100 - 1500
go suntec visit banks pay bills... play arcade... eat ice cream at shaw towers... foot reflex at fls...
long time never so relax liao....

bought a blue-tooth ear piece after shift...
finally can talk on the phone when driving...
but hor... tomolo jlkl off... jnyt n hammer nite... who to talk to leh? ha ha...
anyone otr tomolo in the day... feel free to call khoon hor... dedn can test out the effiecncy of khoon's new toy... hee hee...

DAY 127 OTR SATURDAY

normal sunday...
but today never purposely keng wat ap trips or wat location surcharges trips... (think JLKL gonna charge khoon kopi right for the above... ha ha..)
juz png onli... got pax flag juz take...
somewhere in the middle of the day kenan woods... drop liao put busy... got pax flag... got call right in the same st... all never take... meet godson eat lunch...
another somewhere in the late afternoon... AP to one of the hotels juz outside town... pax no SGD... so pay by credit... but the machine keep hang and cannot process the transcation... so print receipt go counter take $$... but staff say muz wait for pax check in den can pay khoon... (first time got hotel say tis... usually is juz giv the receipt and take $$ fuck-off)... waited 20 mins for the payment...
other den tat juz a pretty normal sunday....

DAY 129 OTR MONDAY
0400 - 0500
1 trip... private boooking... near base to AP...
0500 - 0600
slow Q... 1 trip nia... from AP... where are all the humans?
0600 - 0700
stop by cck monastry for some quiet time...
managed 1 trip nia...
0700 - 0930
ping pong around in east (not in sequence of trips... juz roughly remember these are the places)
loyang... fort rd... tmft... saf ferry terminal... loyang again... bedok south...
last trip drop changi biz park...
swee swee 9:25... empty fuel tank light come on...
zoom to defu... pump diesel... full tank run 717 km... full tank diesel at transcab... 71.17...
also bring the cashless terminal go to check... whoo... jasmine personally trouble-shoot the machine...
wait for eric... wait for hammer... after all done with our business at defu fish market... went for break...
today total brreaktime 2 hours plus... but feel more tired den o nthe days break 20 mins... funny hor?
