DAY 187 OTR THURSDAY OMO
started 0430... but onli start meter 0530...
1800 peak hour start... all taxis in town png... khoon went waterloo st iillegally park and eat dinner...
usually on thursday evening calls ping ping piang piang... but tonite quiet...
after break... took call... kenan town to AP... tot so one last trip keep car...
made two tactical mistakes... drop liao dun want Q at AP... head out to CBP... reach liao see every buidling also taxis long Q... den remember wat CK taught... quickly rush back to AP... but already miss the png window... end up stuck more den an hour plus in Q... heng is kenan bishan... 5 mins away from base...
if not for the mistakes made in AP... could hav closed shop two hours earlier...

DAY 188 OTR FRIDAY OTR
kenan tuas three times morning peak...
almost end peak drop town... Q at outram taxi stand... guess wat? tuas again!
break alone at holland dr market... after break... took two hours off to run errands and pay bills...
almost end shift kenan pax to tai seng... head to find the pump at lane 11... quite easy to misss.... after pump... 7 mins reach base area liao...
wash car... top up diesel to full tank... hand over...
funny... transcab never deduct rental for almost a week liao? free rental? ha ha... got so good meh?

DAY 189 OTR SATURDAY
kenan fare cheat... went make police report...
almost end shift kenan batok pax... go pump diesel...
nothing else interersting for the day...

DAY 190 SUNDAY OMO
0900 start shift... whole morning machiam botanic gardens shuttle... think went about 5 times...
afternoon uneventful... evening also uneventful...
good connections till almost mid nite... mid nite went met up with LV nite drivers for supper...
after supper... heading back base... kenan hijack by pax in side st... quickly send to punngol... head home sleep!

DAY 191 MONDAY SERVICE DAY
reach workshop slightly after 8am... Q till almost 10am den go into bay... almost 12pm den out from workshop... today smart liao... bought food in... dun need go hungry like the previous few times...
went to temple want pray tai sui... but missed the morning session... muz come back 2pm... tot want go bank... heng heng kenan advanced call 30 mins eta... destination near to the bank...
did a few more trips to cover diesel costs...
went pray tai sui... den went telok ayer buy stuff for pray tee kong...
swee swee reach hometown in time to wash car and hand over...

DAY 192 TUESDAY OTR
start engine 0500... quite good connections...
last trip amk pax from AP... want go somewhere he cant pronounce... but able to say loorong 3.... hmmm amk go geylang lorong 3? good good... 10 mins from hometown... show the address... tpy lorong 3! jackpot sia... first time kenan pax send home...
best collection after fare adjustment...

uneventful day plus lousy collection...
back to obk after one good day...

DAY 194 OTR THURSDAY OMO
originally planned to start 0900 since omo... but considering need few hours off to meet ericgo... so started at 0500... no pax all the way... Q at hotel... punno two cabs infront but he never noticed khoon... almost 0600 den start meter...
Q AP side by side with punno... kenan pasir ris... whole morning loyang and changi north shuttle...
end peak ubi cresent... head to hougang meet ericgo... bring him to defu fish market... met hammer there who went return wish...
got return... got new hirers... tat is life... come and go... all is transcient... nothing is permanent... onli constant is change...
break with hammer... jnyt... jackpotlok... ericgo...
1700 kenan pax to yishun... den connect connect till hometown... 1900 tot want keep car... but mentor say to forgo tomolo morning... whack all the way till 0100... okay.. follow his idea... but tot discount abit 2100 or so keep...
2130 AP pax to mbs... tot swee swee... drop liao can nicoll highway kpe pie home... but on the way... listen talkie town piang...
reach town... text mentor say want find a last fare can keep liao... he say will resign if khoon dun experience the thursday nite town piang... ha ha...
so took a short break to fresehen up... and had almost two hours of fun in town...
midnite last pax to scotts rd... 7 mins reach hometown... keep car...
nite driving veri siong... jam here jam der... erp here erp der... but quite smooth connections today... but hor... khoon drive nite time.. mentor at home give strategic advice one... ha ha...
although collection is no much more den a normal shift.... but no regrets in working such hours... the experience is worth all the effort...

short and sharp relax day...
0700 start engine...
0730 first trip advanced call town to west...
0830 second trip advanced call west to town...
0930 third trip current call town to AP...
1000 fourth trip AP to town...
1030 break at chinatown market... miss the food man!
1100 combination of sweep and calls...
1430 last pax off...
1530 pump at defu fish market...
1600 wash car at spc...
1630 handover!
collection slightly more den one point per kilometer... hmmm...
switch to cdg? upgrade to limo? hmm...

Morning 4am to 8am hard to Huat nowaday,
I total gv up driving 6-8am even got 25% peak,
wake up so early but earn peanut during peak....

yeap... 35% time 4am to 10am easily can cover rental n fuel... now difficult even with good connections...
but now shift timing adjusted... trying out 5am to 5pm... see how it gooes...

started almost 5am...
break alone at waterloo street coffee shop...
on and off connections... Q at hotels most of the time... continue to boycott MBS...
met hammer and slpun for a short coffee break sometimes in the afternoon...
generally a boring day...

mondays... usually qiute easy to drive...
but sure kenan pax... especially mid to late 20s female office type... "uncle can go faster... late for work liao"...
today good connections all the way till mo time for break... hammer limo jobs non-stop... slpun n ep77 doing some secret mission... bluerubbishkia nvr connect... end up delay till 1plus den go for free lunch at buddhist lodge...
super late in handing over... but ck idle f nevermind one... still ask want go for kpoi anot...
