DAY 382 OTR 8 August [Wednesday]
0545 - 1145 accounted for 50% of whole day collection...
when want to stop for break... company called asking gt pick up handphone belong to hotel pax?... ask to on meter send back to hotel...
swee swee send back to hotel... hotel says...
"not our policy to reimburse taxi drivers for the fare when returning found items"... phui!
took some time off... went to fu lu shuo... lunch... banking... foot reflex and power nap at the same time...
1445 - 2345 accounted for the other 50% of whole day collection...
every wednesday... after Vimalakirti Buddhist Centre... talkie sure piang with calls... coconuts drop non-stop... tot tonite holiday eve will be good... so skip puja chiong collection... however...
end up waited whole nite no coconuts! talkie also veri quiet...
8pm to 10pm onli managed one trip send the chief coconut nearby...
cannot waste time liao... anyhow pick a few trips... managed to hit target before mid-nite... very un-productive!

for me, usually company will tell passenger about paying for the trip.
if not, i tell them either go company collect or police station collect.

remembering how painful to drive on N Day last year... so tis year approach is to do today's rental yesterday...
tot of having a relax day... so slept most of the morning...
around noon time... JLKL call... say he send pax right to my door step... ask me go down drink coffee... kpkb zai bo lang...
sleep again after lunch... woke p juz in time to watch the NDP...

after the parade segment of the NDP.... went to wash car... tot do a few trips earn some pocket moeny... BUT
trip 1 - petrol kisok to braddell mrt...
trip 2 - quality hotel to orchard towers...
one hour zai bo lang... coz chiong to marina area but jam here jam der...
trip 3 - finally start meter $10.55... MBS pax to shenton DBS bank in money and back to MBS...
trip 4 - no more $10.55 luck liao... MBS lobby pax to jalan sultan area...
trip 5 - another start meter $10.55... to newton... tot can keep car liao... BUT....
trip 6 - novena to jalan rajah... still five mins from hometown.. BUT...
trip 7 - turn out from car park... two young boys wave... ask go tampines can anot? deliberate a awhile... greed won rationale... go lor... drop liao go ave 9 esso shee shee... intent to take kaki bukit flyover home... BUT...
trip 8 - tamp ave 9 to bedok reservoir view... tot can take either flyover or PIE home... BUT...
trip 9 - haven reach main road... another youngster flag... pasir ris... drop liao... head towads tamp ave 10 with the same intent... BUT...
trip 10 - haven reach ave 10... one indian lady... u-turn to pasir ris...
trip 11 - turn out from carpark... got pax again... paris ris...
trip 12 - still in pasir ris... pax to bukit timah plaza...
finally no connection liao...
shiok... one point per kilometer...

half the nation cannot wake up to work after yesterday niite's party of the year...
half the nation no mood to work after rumours were proven to be... juz rumours... ha ha...
plus half the student population holidays...
more over... half of each of the above group went overseas...
expected a slow moring...
started at 7plus... but most of the time till break at 11am... empty car... haiz...
peng till 4plus.. still haven cover rental... decide to f it... park and went to eat ice cream at swensons... hee hee...
after tat window shop around awhile...

after the ice cream break... momentum start to pick up a bit...
town to katong... connect to tangs...
when pax alighting... see the taxi Q... local with shopping bags... quickly put busy...
locals disappeared... change back to taxi sign... bingo! AP...
Q for almost half hour... including toilet break... jackpot! Choa Chu Kang.. coz wanted to head Lim Chu Kang for awhile...
after spending some quiet time in LCK... head out tru airplane road... somewhere along the way... got pax... clarke quay!
drop liao... managed one start meter $10.55 trip to UE sq...
den went ION to lay long... no hav pax send me home... but got pax to pan pac...
drop liao... turn here turn der awhile... got pax... never interview... black jack! perminpin...
finally can head home...

DAY 386 OTR 12 August [Sunday] 0300 - 0600
started at 3am... want to chiong collection... so later part of the day can relax go BBQ...
start engine head straight down town... wah... siao liao...green lanterns everywhere... chiong toa quieter part of town... got pax flag... ah tiong bu...
"five can?"
"cannnot... four onli.."
"okay... four..."

"five can? veri near onli... bugis..."
"cannot!" ... zoom off.... my license more precious... not worth the risk....
turn here turn der.... MDT bling!
one of those small hotels in some ulu st... missed the entrance... heng... whole road no car... reverse till where the pax standing...
go AP... too earky to Q... dash back to town....
did a few trips after... all out of town no connections... till 5:59am drop last mid nite pax at CCK...
met up with komade at some petrol kiosk to drink deisel...

zai bo lang!
turn here turn der in CCK...
no pax at all...
while talkie piang wif town calls....
finally got pax flag... somemore auto open door and ask...

heng drop jurong island... mdt bling one nice call in jurong island... although destination not fantastic... but no need empty car go out....
drop liao... saw pax flag... carry packet food... harvest sack... 99% go ulu place... true... go pioneer sector...
drop liao... while heading towards civilisation.... mdt bling another nice call... joo koon to amk...
after tat uneventful liao...

1pm drop airport... Q at T#... hope for a trip within east area...
heng heng (or suay suay?) kenan jurong west... luagh or cry? ha ha...
performed some HR skills... managed a family of pax to vivo...
drop liao... step oil no step breaks... chiong to The Mahaprajna Buddhist Society in geylang...
needless to say... late!

after puja... went to sengkang... fetch two idle Fs... taxi park in carpark... sit khoon's red ferrari go BBQ...
got three people told me tat they follow khoon's journal closely... one of them even said tat if no updates... will be disappointed... hmmmm....
