slow monday...
3pm drop upp timah liao... keeep pinng pong within CCK area...
empty car go zoo Q... kenan throw back to CCK...
almost 7pm... still 10% away from target...
heng managed one long trip ffrom NTU to kovan area...
keep car!

target veri simple...
if full shift... once cross 6pm when evening peak - and those bloody jams - starts... time to keep car!
if split shift... avoid city at all cost once cross 6pm... when hit 8pm... start putting change shift... as long as any pax can send me to 10 - 15 mins from hometown... keep car!

slow slow slow tuesday morning...
end peak kenan TC cancelled call... wasted half hour of morning peak...
10 plus kenan sentosa cove...
otw out... japanese family want go merlion in sentosa... not sure where to send them... juz throw them to beach station...
den empty car back home...
lunch and zzzz till 3plus den wake up....

second half OBK...
empty car time more den meter running time...
5pm to 8pm... ping pong in sembawang... cck... batok... cck... ntu... woodlands... yishun...
yishun no connection... drive all the way to amk den finally got a pax down town... all tis while talkie piang wif calls in town...
when finally reached town... talkie quiet liao...
went to maxwell tar pao food... tot go coconut tree hav pinic dinner...
hang sign before turning out from carpark...
got st pax to serangoon...
drop liao... pinic dinner in the cab coz already veri veri hungry... talkie start to come alive again... muz make official complain to chief pool liao...
keep car later den expected... collection 7.66% below target... driving hours exceeded by 18.51%...

morning took one call... orchard to united world college at dover rd...
orchard to dover - 10 mins...
dover rd to drop off the pax- 15 mins...
coming back out to dover road - 10 mins... wah piang a...

end peak took another call... 2 mins away nia... confidently go toilet... end up 5 mins late... coz miss the carpark entrance 3 times!

same as in estates... talkie piang wif calls... once hit town onli... bo liao...

now understand why CK used to say TC calls during peak hours all rubbish... haiz... finally experienced the warth of taiko calls...

Woohoo finally finished reading the whole blog from pg 1! Would like to say thanks to Khoon for spending his precious time in updating this blog. Thank you!
I will be a TD myself soon and I hope I can be as 'relaxed' (the way you type your posts simply gives me that impression lol) and happy as you are when I am OTR.

morning peak shiok...
base to panjang... take call to rws... connect pax to AP...
went expo toilet break.... ate breakfast in the car...
bedok take call to harbour front... connect pax to jurong west... connect pax to old airport... connnect pax to bendemeer... connect pax to bedok... connect pax to simei...
finally no more connections... head back hometown..
met up with ericong for a cuppa...
went cut hair... packet lunch... bought durian egg tarts for parents...
home sweet home to ZzzzZZZZZzzzzz...

overslept! re-start almost 4pm...
ping pong here and der... 5 plus manage one start meter $8.70 trip... but thrown out of town... thinking want pay ERP to go back into town... when see one hotel bling light... gamble... blackjack! AP...
Q T#... about half hour into lot... the taxi infront... boot got a lot of barang... marshall telling him off tat Q AP boot should not hav so many things... he actually answer tat he will choose pax with no luggage!
pax to hotel juz outside town... thinking worth paying $2.50 to go into town anot... when MDT bling one call... 2 mins can reach... take lor... as expected turn out to be taiko destination...

drop pax in boon lay... heading towards a un-conventional direction... MDT bling call 15mins... take lor... less den 10 mins reached liao...but taiko again... go jurong point...
connect pax... suppose to go teban gardens... mistakenly send to taman jurong... give a good discount...
thinking want chiong down to town or hang around in jurong... end up Q at IMM...
kenan pax to jurong east mrt... batok... den petir... forgot to on meter... heng got talkie... few members gave the same estimate amount...
skyjus23 sent a hello msg... so called him to talk cock a bit while...

chiong to nite safari... wah lao... taxis Q till the carpark entrance... thinking want Q or head home... when one maxi stop beside... inch up to create space... but the fella still dun move... o... ericp's big bus...
pax to hotel juz outside town... whicch is ten mins away from hometown... took the shorter route instead of the parang toh one... coz tired liao... want quickly finish up the day...
drop pax... got connection... bell boy say near-by... end up pax on board say yew tee... sianz siah... no city surcharge and send me off course from home...
drove in a controlled reckless way... (note: purposely drive till seems reckless... but actually not)... pax ask to stop... say dont want ride in a dangerous taxi... hee hee...
actually feel bad tat becoz of me... someone ended their evening in a sour note... but already learnt tat it is not worth to do trips tat does not yield tangible benefits...
drop them off at a ulu junction... never colllect fare... 7 mins reach hometown...
juz had a nice dinner of satay... and going to ZzZZzzZzzzzz liao....

I guess it took me about 7 days or so. I read through the blog in between free time and time spent traveling on MRT.
Hehe good that you will continue updating so that in future when I start, I can relate more to what you went through.

trip 1 - power taxi stand to mt A... drop liao head back to power taxi stand...
trip 2 - power taxi stand to bukit panjang...
top up deisel at spc... toilet break... buy bread for breakfast...
while opening the door of the cab... see MDT bling few calls... after sit inside the cab... no more liao!
but got pax open door before moving off... take lor...

trip 3 - panjang to woodlands... die lah... veri hard to get out from woods at 8am...
trip 4 - woods to tuas... pax smart... stand at a location need to u-turn to SLE - BKE... can kiss the morning peak good bye liao... drop liao rush out to jurong west... den it started raining....
trip 5 - jurong west to dover...
trip 6 - dover to town...
trip 7 - coconut to AP...
covered rental... want keep car liao...

otw... MDT start blinging...
bling pasir ris AFTER almost reaching seng kang punggol exit...
bling punggol when almost reaching jalan kauy...
bling sengkang when turning out to yio chu kang exit...
sorry hor... no time to entertain... family more important...

drop at NEX... although whole taxi full of human beings... put busy...
chiong to temple... juz in time for noon puja...
after puja and lunch... head home ZzzZzzzzz....

Yeah will be starting with a partner, sharing the burden. Passed the test liao, now waiting for the licence.
Initially discussed with partner take Trancab Epica because we thought no contract, sekali now then realized got one year bond. Now we also lost and dunno our next step lol. Any kind advice?
