But personally i want to be relief if possible. By the way, i am living in bishan, so if anyone know any hirer looking for relief at bishan or nearby, inform me. Thanks in advance.
Juz finish putting some notes for hirer ard my carpark n have some thoughts.
1) It seems that my carpark had alot of taxi parking at night without night shift. Most i suspect only work Day shift, can they sustain with only day shift?
2) While giving out e notes, I happen to chance upon a wish which didnt off his monitor. It shows 1730-2200 earnings $158. Issit consider alot?
3) By what means does most TD earn their keep? Mostly booking or normal flag down?
4) how does TD submit their income tax? Self proclaim or by e records in the taxi meter? Does the IRAS or the hirer company know how much e drivers earn? Sorry if the question are too stupid but as a newbie, I really dunno...But if Q4 is classified... Can u guys juz private msg me?

Answer : They have their reasons , and problem , u have your own problems too ... so dun worry about others , worry for yourself .
Some just like , no luck in trying to find a partner .
Good try u paste paper on their windscreens , it work wonders . Cos these people will tell their friends and kaki someone name Gavin trying to find a hirer .

Various method .

If you submit income taxes , u'll end up no need to pay income taxes , but must pay medisave .
Taxi companies do not provide details like how much we earn , it's against the law i think .
But we must submit how much we earn daily , off set diesel , car wash , etc .... and report all to IRAS .

I don't think so... as i am one of the last few batch for online e-learning. just took my time to pass it.
did you try asking or talk to TD when you take a taxi? some are rather friendly and willing to share their experience. i remember 1 did mentioned that it is better to start from driving sat/sun to earn more experience 1st, as mon-fri day, people are in a rush and will be demanding (pressure, pressure)

IMHO if you want to be a relief driver with CDG.Registered yourself with CDG,place your security deposit with them.Ask them for driver portal CDG website login & password.Go matching tab to check for suitable hirer, off course must call and discuss with them the price, timing, term & conditions....so and so...For my side Jurong West & Boon Lay,no problem finding a hirer."It is a relief choose hirer market" especially for Sat & Sun relief job.I don"t really know why the turnover rate for vacancy of night relief at my side is always very high so not really a problem if i choose to drive @ night. But sometimes having too many option to choose can be a bad thing too,its like you dun know which one to choose.Just like you go to a car park with abundance of parking lots, you dun know which one to park
Hope this help!
