Or they scared many of their drivers jump ship to TransCab new launching of Chevrolet ?

Yap my friend and I also receive the call. But funny lah, if they called they should have alot cab available like silver which can get car almost immediate...but ask them they have same answer....sonata 1-3mth...but crown need 2 weeks... -
Lan lah, crown takes 2 weeks meh>> 2 days can already, go in, register, paid deposit, discuss contract or no contract, sign here and there, go car park choose car, then go home wait for processing, a day later, call you up to drive, for those who just finished getting taxi course and licence, can get back your course fees if you sign contract. I heard sonata contract is over, no more supplying soon, so no new sonata, spare part very expensive, comfort may had got new contract with new crown again, VW volkswagon Boro is also on the negotiation table, it is a good car.

heard from friends inside, they say like something secretive about new rent, not the 'usual'. could be changes soon

Dont rejoice. Every new car these farkers introduce , rental will be higher and higher.
Volkswagen? zhun bo? their parts is not any cheaper than hyundai esp if the 7 speed gearbox chui , big problem.
To TDs , keep overheads low is the best. Coz why? u drive Volkswagen , Mercedes Chrysler taxi is the same , still taxi.

That is what I said, to increase rental, they cannot do it on old cab, so introduce new cabs to up the rental fees on the diguise of higher COE paid out? but then who set the COE?Smart got VW, why not, VW are assemble in China, most chinese cab in shanghai are also VW under comfort and other cab companies of china. They could had get a supply chain. Tho parts could be expensive, but VW drivers told me, VW less problem than korean or jap cars. If you compare VW cars with toyota or honda, it is not that expensive anymore. The German wanted to capture the market which they did in china, a big market, by mass production and massive sales instead of luxury one by one sales, they know they hv to do it if they want to have a share of automobile business in Asia, Das auto

If i am TransCab Chief , i will nego with Proton to come out with something this size , with at least 2200cc diesel .
Tua Tua Tan Tan if can come out with a deal , definitely cheaper than imports from Japan .
