  Yes, i agree with you. i dun condone drink driving. my point all along was giving opportunity to others to repent instead of condemning them immediately... if no harm was involved and if the other party willing to repent, we can try forgiving... my point wasn't about drink driving is a correct thing to do.

  After 41 years . . . . unchanged .

  U try telling our former CJ Yong Pang How the word repent ?

  Under the reign of former CJ Yong Pang How , u wanna appeal , better think thrice , most likely u end up serving double the sentence , what repent ?

  Alcoholic always want to give lots of excuse for drink driving. If people can dun drive to go for a drink, why can't other follows? Driving is to send your friends home after the session, this is what the young drivers alway did. I remind you that nowadays highways got a lot of roadworks and these ah nei usually did not put clear signage in advance. Do you know that a lot of roads are like F1 circuit now. The conditions of road are worst after roadwords in many areas. Most drink drivers always choose highways to escape being stop by police in road blocks. If no laws to protect the innocent people involves in accidents related to drink driving, then do you think the forigners here will obey the law? Or have you forget that ex-Romanian deplomat Ionescu case. What if they happens to kill your love ones one day, you think you still say ok to drink driving. Make sense lah.

  Alot of accidents happen on wed/fri/sat on the highways

  esp when there is rd works....... u guys should knoe wat these days r .........

  If the govt never repent, how you expect the citizens to repent, it is more of a culture here, we tell them that fuel  prices are high and TD is having a hard time balancing it, and together with higher rental and high cost of living, did they repent and listen to us??

  u drink u dun drive, if u drive u dun drink. it is taught during the theory lesson before u got license. 

  there is no excuse, no mercy, no argument or no 2nd chance given if u got caught by tp.

   

  if u wanna repent, there is alot of time to repent when ur in jail/license revoke.

  Well, in law you still have to face the music but do you know there's a huge difference between pleading guilty and feeling remorseful vs insisting you're not guilty in court?
