Are u so sure you can make the $25/hr?? Let me give u an analogy of what you can earn if you work overnite on a saturday, as a freelance contract worker myself, working on a saturday nite from 12 midnite to 8am is 3 x the normal pay, and from sat 5pm to midnite is 2 x the normal pay, with insurance and medical coverage as required by MOM. Local Contract workers engaged for Marine, oil and gas job or simply loading and unloading of containers or new cars at PSA is $100 to $150 per day (8hrs) depend on the skill needed.
If I work from sat 6pm to sunday morning 6am, at $100 per day, I will get about $400++.
TD must understand that weekend pay more, and weekend overnite pay lagi more, so for a TD to work on weekend, by right, he should be taking in more, from 5pm to sunday 6am should be more than $200. That is why up till now, I still do not understand why LTA did not see that weekends are rest day and that there should be a surcharge for driving on weekends, I believe paxs will understand it, cos it is a rest day, and those working should be pay double or triple,
