Took 3 time taxis today.

today half day off from work , dad using car , so bo bian , took a comfort taxi down to stagnee place find a friend , fee was $22.50 with erp charges and on call fee , so i paid the driver $25 and told him to keep the change , keep saying thank you to me , after that , took another transcab down to somerset singtel comms centre , fee was $10.50 including ERP charge , wanted to give some tips , but bo bian , only got 1 $50 notes so give the uncle change , also dunno want to give him how much , so nv give tips this time round , but still he very appreciative. After that , took a chrysler cab , once hop on the cab , tell the driver woodlands , he on meter , wow $5 , got a shock , cos first time taking chrysler taxi , but it was comfortable though , also wanna try out chrysler taxi at the same time. good experience. So when reach woodlands , the fee was $26.50 including ERP charges also , so i gave $30 to the uncle , and told him to keep the change also , afterall , have a very good experience and service from the taxi drivers , and also feel very happy that i tip them. although not a lot but just my small appreciative for their service. thumbs up. =))

haha hope got chance bah , very rarely i take cab , cos most of the time i am driving. either my dad using the car or the car sent for servicing. most of the time i will be driving. But if really got luck meet me , i sure tip u handsomely , hahaha -

haha , chrysler very spacious leh , my first time experience , very comfortable. most importantly , service must be good , for me , i very easy , i always keep quiet inside the taxi , once reach destination , pay and give tip then go liao. business hard to do mah , i do business , so i can understand. hehe. -

I am happy to hear of your positive experience taking black cabs. Once in a blue moon, like yesterday, I got a couple who sat in my black cab. The bf liked taking black cabs and passed the gf the money for the cab, but the gf finds it too expensive and did not want him to spend money like that. The gf scolded the bf for taking this black cab and in a fit of rage says she will never take taxis anymore. I shut up all the way. End of trip the fare was $54 (morning peak hr + ap surcharge). It is not my fault, but still I wished this couple had boarded a sampan from T1 instead.

99% of the time, no passenger will give me a black face because they already know by now that a black car costs more. But once in a long while, I get this sort of pax. It hurts me to see the pain when she pays me.

just now took cab to SIM for meeting. sonata~ the driver drive like F1 leddat... step the accerlerator like nobody business. totally abuse the engine and waste oil $.
:( then when I reached SIM nearly vomitted out my lunch.
On my way home, another sonata driver. this time he is drive very smoothly.

The sonata driver is doing a good job with his car. Comfort rental is so high, so we must whack their taxi to make it spoil faster so we got excuse to send it to the workshop and claim our rental free period for a well deserved rest. This is a taxi, not our personal car, so some taxi drivers can care less.

The more you step on the accerlerator, the more fuel it's gonna burn, and the more it's gonna cost. This is true.
Time = Money. Faster send the pax, the more time to look for another pax. This is also true.
