Back to the red wish that accident ...
If he driving at 60-70km/hr on that stretch , it can be avoided .
But serve him right .... why so kang chiong ?
Come-on,
Thing never happen, no ones say?
Thing happened many says, Why?
Even the TP investigator not finalished with their reports, how and why can this happen?
Please wait for the press release report from the paper. than we talks.
the accident could be a mild heart attack to the driver,or mechanical faults, driving skill or others
You know everything? (Kang Chiong) looked like you know really, know many things. just imagination.
If this happen to you as like him or her, must we also say the same, serve you right.
As like the comfort Sonata at Tiong Bahru Plaza crashed to the 7eleven store, we all know what is all about.
Still too early, too early. too loud always.

I am saying 60km/hr road , pls drive 60km/hr , not 90km/hr onwards that kind of speed . Bukit Batok West Ave 2 is a regulated 60km/hr stretch . School zone somemore . Old folks home just opposite .
Well there must be a reason to apply tat 60km/hr .
Bang !!! Could well be that reason .
Well always good to maintain a safety speed .
I not scared i bang people car . I scared i banged into jaywalkers on the iphones while they walking !!!!
When u are on a 60km/hr speed , on a regulated 60km/hr road . whatever situation one can get , your responding and reaction time is always 1/4 seconds faster .
Well ..... in the City , also very hard to be really fast .
Do you speed at 110km/hr at Orchard Road ?
Bras Basah ?
Nicholl Highway ?
No right ?
Maybe Komade ever driving 100km/hr at Suntec when he compete for a job .
Not me .... i slow driver .
Dun think i huat , my pax paying me $3 flag down + $3 cbd +$3.50 booking fee +35% if applicable for my cab .
But one thing i dislike , most trip under $14 . Under 15 minutes job .
Any $3 less i dun take one .
Outside CBD people after 8pm no way they will get into my cab .
They have to wait til after 12MN .
How to huat ?
Idle cabby how to huat ?
Pls members , 60km/hr stretch .... means nothing more than 91km/hr .
One member i know ..... at Tanjong Pagar Road , travelled at a safety speed , hit a walking pedestrain , hit his kneecap ..... sent to hospital .
Cos that pedestrain listening on the phone while walking !!!!
Heng this member travelling at safety speed , just hit the knee .
Imagine this chap drive at 90km/hr at Tanjong Pagar Road ?
That walking pedestrain will fly .
Punishment ?
Need to say ? TP never give chance on cabby , een if pedestrian is wrong !
Got surveillance camera at that junction , captured pedestrian walking the road illegally , listening on the phone , cabby still kena .
Heng that chap travelling at safety speed , just a fine and some demerit point .

Agreed, like Kinwashi said, anything is possible, can be a newbie on the road, someone flagged for his cab at the bus stop he least expected, then suddenly turn in, whack until the pillar bollack also crash thru, lucky got these pillars, if not dunno how many will be crash to death. From the impact, speed is definitely high, how he brakes, need to look at the tire marks.
Let not talk abt CDG or trancabs, we are all brothers, tho the driver of this cab can be reckless, but, my heart goes to him and of course the injured ones, wondering if he is sole bread winner of the family, if so, it can be hard on him, people make mistake like we do, it either big or small, thing already happen, its irreversible, people use to regret on what was done and dwell on it, seldom they think of what is going to happen next, which is actually the most important.
So, as for Bro Pool, tho I do not know you personally, I understand you are a good man with a good heart, that I cannot deny, from the way to part your knowledge and advises to others, your help and your empathy to some newbies certainly shown you good self, just that at time yr ego and pride can carry you away abit, whatever your bad experience with CDG in past should be put to rest, if you able to do that, I guarantee you will be a more happier mod and person well like by all, including me.

STOMPer Julia was annoyed to see this cabby playing solitaire on his onboard LCD monitor, even as he was driving her to her destination.
Said the STOMPer:
"I boarded this TransCab taxi from Pasir Ris to go to Changi at about 10.15am today (Sep 9), and asked the driver if he could hurry, as I was late. He said OK.
"The next I knew, he was playing Solitaire as he was driving!
"He did this throughout the entire journey, with a passenger in the taxi."

this morning i was there and saw fire-engine beside the red-wish. Same smash onto the bending rail on the rightside. Head-on. Just wonder why all cars and including taxis still queing to get out from that exit.
He must be out of control on that bend and cannot handle it with that speed.

eh bro pass me the number also leh...... :P
The airbag will balloon when u r travelling at least 90km/hr and suddenly do an emergency jam brake or hit into something. Two aspect have to clear here, airbags and even safety belts hv kill people instead of saving them, if you are driving and impact on something, airbag come out is ok, but if you suddenly do an emergency brake, airbag ballooned infront of you, you get a shock and swivel the vehicle to the wrong direction out of control, if you go into a coma, airbag can suffocate you, on the other hand, in US, airbag had caused heart attack n stroke on drivers with high blood or weak heart, drivers died because of airbag rather than the accident itself.
Even safety belts had caused dead, both in airplane and car, once crashed, people go into coma or badly injured, vehicle go into burning, and the belt was jammed by crumbled metal, in shock, they just get burnt alive, plane that went into the sea, as I read, passengers get drowned with belts on. There are cases which civil defence have to cut the safety belt with knife as the mechanism to remove it was jammed.
But having said that, it better to have them, cos the advantage certainly is more than the disadvantages. For this wish driver, maybe without airbag or safety belts, he would had been more worst.

Ha ha, joker, knn, if he knows how to use galaxy tab, more worst liao.
Most of us undermine our age, peoples use to say, I can do this and that at one go, I will agree if you are young, can surf net and yet talk over phone, can sms without looking at pad, can play striker or midfield or any position, so to speak, but as you age, your neuron cells deteriorate, if you think you can play game, drive, pick paxs, take bluetooth calls, take calls, walkie calls, play/surf tab, see GPS, see girls at one go while plying the road, by all means, I wish them good luck.
We, as both a service provider and at the same time, a consumer who buy this and that with our hard earned money, or go tour with our dear ones, we also expect to be treated well, you dun want to end up buying a tab with a salegirls keep playing on her phones or listening to ipod or going into a tour with a guide who keep sending msgs. So please, if you do not want to communicate much with your customer is ok, but do respect them, afterall, they are your paymaster.
Like bro pool, I am a believer of simplicity, some cab I see look like airbus 380 pilot seat, so many gadgets.
