No best time .... the day u collect your vehicle , free rental already .
Usually collection time will be before 12noon .
Check the body for dent and scratches , or check items that could be missing , like spare tyre , tyre jack , Orange triangle , tyres rims .
Sometimes the former hirer stunt those stuff .
Also prepare a cash card to check if the IU is working .
Press the meter to see if it is moving .
Check printer paper got or not , if not take from workshop .
Buy written receipt just in case from cashier .
As for cashless terminal , make sure got one or two spare receipt papers as standby .
Write down in your note book .
Those things i say very important one .

Check radiator water .... make sure reservoir water not empty .
Check wiper and spray , make sure wiper working .
check all four tyres , make sure no botak .
start engine listen to the cranking sound , cranking sound will determine battery conditions .
Once out of workshop , step onto the braking system if it works well .
Then first thing u head to is Serangonn North Ave 5 top up your CNG .
Prepare $5 buy a Smart CNG discount card . And top it up for $30 .
And find out from those people there how to use the card to activate pump .

because toh tuck upgrading their payment system to cashless .... so u need not buy any C-nergy discount card .

If that wish has got no more petrol inside , go any petrol kiosk pump about $10 .
Make sure inside petrol tank has got at least 1/4 tank left of petrol .
Petrol i dun pump full , cos make our vehicle heavier .
Heavier machines mean higher fuel consumption .
Imagine 21kg of CNG , plus full tank petrol , plus 4 giant ang mor in your cab .... very fast your CNG finished !

Once u got Wish ....
U will see a MDT , bottom left rear corner , that is a Reset switch , reset it !!!
After reset , wait for it to load .
Then u will see 12 buttons , key in 00112233 to master reset the software !!!
Then key in your taxi number , press Done .
It is some sort of synchronisation between the MDT & the taximemter as well , something like clearing some memories . or cache we called it .

Try a U-turn ..... see how much space the vehicle need for your driving style .
Check out the braking distance between your car and the car infront .
Knowing and getting use to the machine is very very important .
NO worries about blind spots , Wish has got minimum blind spots , unlike some korean made .

Make sure everything to be done before 4pm .
Once clocked 4pm , start work , the rest later can worry .
Make some money first .
If start 4pm , make sure cash card has got minimum $20 i would say inside card .
U'll need it .
If u are not the master of CBD ..... try anyone that flag for your taxi .
Or Q at shopping arcades .
Basic Theory No 1 : Get a feel of driving with someone at the back of you .

Then at 10pm ..... go back rest .
That energy u'll need it for the next day .

check if got consoles , consoles very useful , can put many barangs inside .
if no console , then your barangs barangs don't know put where ?

also see if got car stereo , if not invest some on a simple radio , driving taxi no radio will be very boring one .

check floor maps still there , if broken type , ask for a replacement .
if not lobangs , i got .
one set $40 , collect and trap dusts type .

and of course a shitload of coins...... :P

...and also learn to listen properly, sometime, it is "Keep the Change"...more importantly, if do not know road or blur blur, tell pax that you are new, most will help you, if pax do not know, you also do not know, better ask pax to take another cab as you are new, better for all.
After finished shift, go home, recall all the roads and learn from it, that is one of the best way to learn.

Poolman u can come out hand book.

this one no need lar ... once u forgotten to press once , once bitten twice shy , you will remember next time .In fact , my trick , once u stop your vehicle , finger on the meter .

Our "Dirty Tricks" training session normally on Monday if not Tuesday evening at about 12MN .Normally at Lavender Food Sq .

And if you driving 2nd shift , not too bad to prepare a "windbreaker" with you .
Wish the air con knn very cold one .
5 blowers , 5 powerful blowers .
If u ask me where's the No 5 blower ? it's hiding behind the meter . That one that mainly blow to the rear . Pointing upwards .
I usually shut down the one on the right !
Can blow until my right hand fingers numb .
Hahahahahah , esp raining days , very cold .
Lowest no.1 can be also very cold .
