If u overload pax,what are the consequences ?

Normal taxi can take 4 adults, or 3 adults & 2 children.if take 5 adults or 3 adults & 3 children,what are the penalty fro taxi co,LTA,Traffic police,insurances.

taxi companies wouldn't catch lar , the most warning . only TP and LTA will catch . No demerit , but surely fine .

Now adays you can see LTA on the road so offen than before, best is don't take risk

Tell them to take the maxicab please. 5-7 pax please either take maxicab, MPV or take 2 normal cabs.

$150 fine on the spot. Never take more than what the capacity of the cab can take, why? because it goes against the safety regulation, and if you get into accident while ferrying overload pax, good luck to you, mostly the other party will claim you, taxi companies will take yr deposit, ban or suspend you, LTA and TP will fine you hard hard. And if someone inside the cab or the other party is injured, they can sue you hard hard.
So, never take the risk, usually overload pax are family including childrens, Pax "Uncle, 3 adults, 3 kids can lah," Tell them "Accident how?" Better take care of your kids. Be safe than sorry

Look out for ppl on motorbike with Law enforcer vest.
If I see these ppl, I immediate bucker up seat belt. TDs must remind pax to buckle seat belt

no need to say "accident how?". ��利, macham like cursing them. just say "sorry, insurance not cover" can liao.

I think in accident insurance will refuse to pay and driving with invalid insurance is an offence

singapore can do anything , don't get caught .
U can chose to ferry as many pax as possible ... but need to be so yao meh ?
Leave some for the taxi behind .... so many taxis in Singapore .
When come to reality , Singapore has became a society where most i would say understood that taxi is only meant for 4 adults' standard .
But i cannot stop passengers from requesting me to take 5 of them , i 500% reject them !!!
Cos i never like to spoilt market . Usually these are cheapos .
These people usually say : "Just nearby ."
If i happy , i say "sorry no ."
If i not happy , i suan siao them : " If nearby , take 2 taxis , very cheap only ."

tat day 5 amk tried to board my cab at CQ but i insist 4 nia they LL
take 2 cabs but had a friendly chat on the way end of trip even tip me~~~ :P

for bridging rules in insurance issues....

you so heng arh? i yesterday also kena 5 pax but i got no tips leh. :(
4 amk & 1 fake ang mo (dun know jap/korean/chinese) squeeze into my vehicle & act blur. i tell them if 5 pax, i am not going anywhere. then one "gay-gay" open & shut the door then tell me one guy alighted already. thot i bo nao, so easy to smoke? i repeat again "i am not going anywhere if 5 pax in my car". in the end, LL 2 guys alighted to take another cab. cheapo amk.

the biggest problem is accident or dispute ever someone told me he ferry 5 (think 4 adults 1 kid semi teenage) but at the end the customer play stunt change route, then dispute the meter refuse to pay when reach refuse to get out almost become fight (3 men 1 woman vs lone driver), so become free

khoon kenan before... one pax flag... stop liao... total five got in... khoon say cannot... pax say give extra $5 can? cannot... den see behind got smrt water cow stop at red light...
quickly get down signal for him to stop... explain to pax $1 extra nia... solve the problem... khoon take next pax power trip...
end results = happy pax and two happy TDs...

I especially hate when people say "Please take us. I'll give you MORE MONEY" Wahlau eh, your money will make me rich?? If you have so much money, then take two cabs lah. Stupid pax

These people ask because they know the answer already. It is like HokkienKia ask his lady pax "Can i fondle your breast?". He knew the answer but he is hoping that some horny pax will let him do so.
