almost all suitcases now have wheels to make transporting even heavier luggage easier for those without much strength or at risk of hurting us. Its once they're out to the curb and the taxi pulls up that there could be a problem though, as lifting a heavy bag into the trunk of a car can be much more difficult than simply pulling it along on wheels.
so...who job?
Put bag in the Trunk.

Actually I think it is none of our business. Our job is to drive them around. But I usually dun mind doing it. Treat it as an exercise for me. But if I am old then maybe I will not help.

Saw... sometime hotel doormans, just lifted the luggages into the taxi trunk, completed the job, in the other hand, with some rewards given by the passenger.
But at airport, taxi drivers unloaded the luggages nothing see or never, we get.
So...who job?

High time we should do it here as like in Hong Kong.
Notes to passengers :
1. Additional Charge for Baggage:
In general, additional charge for baggage may be levied on:
- every piece of baggage that is carried inside the baggage compartment; or
- every piece of baggage with total dimensions (length + width + height) exceeding 140cm that is carried inside the passenger compartment.
Baby prams are also required to pay the additional charge for baggage according to the above guidelines.
Wheelchairs and crutches carried by disabled passengers are free of charge.
So this is to stop those misuse of taxi as cheap transport like house removal, goods tranportation provide to them for their convenience. Taxi are just strictly for passenger only.

Even when you check in at airport the maximum single peice laggage weight is 23 KG over that one has to book as heavy else loaders can refuse to load it , for taxis according to Singapore Taxi acadmy loading luggage is passengers headace as taxi drivers got no business with the luggage , also was told by the instructor from LTA that dont pick up bags without explisit concent of the pessanger else if LV bag get scrached they claim from taxi company who naturally will recover from taxi driver. so this is the situation if you do you are dammed if you dont you are dammed just choose which dammed you prefer the most

next time you see pax got luggages, then put BUSY lor....

other than that i'll mind my own biz.....

by right u do not need to load the bags cause if anything happens
such as an accident u r not covered by insurance cause u r outside
of the taxi

used to help loading up but some cb kia never even say thank you when you help them load up, as if we are their servant. now i oso practice this way.
i saw some td sit in the cab like "tua peh gong" while the pax load themself, td dun help even pax is a female.

True, some cabbies do not give a damn. But also cannot blame them, like me, howlian, once carried a heavy bag, kenna backache for a week, how to carry further, then as some of you said, pax never appreciate it, some even ask you to carry properly and do not throw, knn. Not being racist, but especially some of those ah neh paxs, rich or poor, seibei yaya papaya one.
Some of these paxs carried very heavy load, then expect me alone to carry up the boots, I ask them both carry up better lor, it your bag, not mine leh. Pax must learn to appreciate this as help, a gesture of goodwill from Taxi Uncles, they should not take it as a must, a part of our job or that the fares including loading of bags, but sadly, most take it for granted, so end up, never said thankyou, never appreciate and give you that bossing face.
Imagine you sit inside whole day, then suddenly carry a heavy loan without even warm up.

bros there is no obligation to carry heavy bags for pax. LTA does not have a ruling u dun carry will kena points .
You know who is the bastard co that spoils all this pax who expect the TD to carry their fucking bags?
Its that famous blue co called Cumfuck . Now see my mood , pax nice i will help , help hor , not carry everything. No mood lan jiao self service pls.
If pax gives me tips , then no choice i have to return the thanks by helping to carry.

if u dun want to carry heavy loads or bags, you can tell the passengers, sorry cant help you, as I have chronic backpain, advised by doctors not to carry heavy load, else will strain the back. easy does it.

We arrived Seoul each with one piece of luggage (and inside each piece stuff another smaller piece):
We left with about 11 pieces (bought two more those huge 'China bags' to stuff the loot). Top of vehicle can tie additional luggages.

Last week at T2, waiting at the Q and its my turn, a family of four adults. coming with four this kind of luggages ....big and huge... how to load it into Sonata Taxi trunk. and with one wheelchair. and aditional three hand carry bags a guitar with casing.

Senerio 2...what about 10 sack of this potato and 10 sack of onion salted fish and many others black soy sauce, light soy sauce, canned stuff a few cartons, will you help to load this to the trunk. This kind of cargo.
