  It is only an indication (approximate) amount.... 

  Waiting time at traffic junction, traffic jams...

  So the Pax (who uses) this website will not be ripe off by some TDs (adding additional surcharges into the total amt) when a Foreigner doesn't know the Taxi structure in Singapore.

  Pax can do TD a big favour if they are taking reference to this, therefore the preferred route. There will be no dispute even if the traffic condition is not ideally normal aka jam.
