If passenger asks you to increase air con, will you do it?

I ever asks a taxi driver, to increase the air con, as I was perspiring inside the cab. the air con was, I think lowest, but the TD not happy, told me this, sorry I cannot, you can take other cab if you want. I was like stunned and pissed increase air con also cannot meh, as I was really sweating. so far he is the only TD who refused to increase the air con when I ask him to. all other TD complied to my request.

Usually when I book cab, I was perspiring like you most of the time due to the relative hot weather in Singapore
The taxi uncle auto increase the air con for me without me asking even though it's not necessarily. But I am always thankful for their kind gesture. -
taxi driver is stupid.

lol my bad. what I meant was this. I was perspiring and sweating inside the cab. I told the TD to make it colder as in air con blasting at full strength, as the air con was not cold enough, think it was the minimun on.
he flat refused and told me, sorry, go take other cab. I really farking felt like alighting and take the next cab when he said that. I also dunno why he flatly refused. I am not the complain type, as in complain to the taxi company cos of what he said.

pax say too hot i will increase , too cold i will decrease. is it that difficult?

but one thing i hate is pax increasing my radio's volume without asking me.
i ever fucked 1 ang moh who did that , he was very unhappy , i told him the cb radio is mine , u wanna touch it pls ask me. ccb knn
As pax , pls rem the radio is not the taxi cos one. it is the cabbys , dun anythow touch it.

yah man... taxi never come with radio... TD self install one...
khoon usually play 92.4... relaxing music... except morning peak 93.8 at times to hear traffic news...
if pax dun like.. can turn off... but strictly no 933, 98 or 95 (nite can day cannot coz day DJ veri noisy)... dun like those stations...

could it be yr tone or the way you request? here are some of the common phrase I heard..
1) "Uncle, increase yr air-con pls!"
2) "Uncle, yr air-con can on higher or not?"
3) "Uncle, sorry ah, can you dun mind sw on yr air-con slightly colder? I am very hot. later can sw it back to normal. can? thank you ah... thank you."
4) "Uncle. pai-sey pai-sey. air-con can turn a little bit colder? I sweating here becos outside was so hot. sorry ah.. thank you very much..."
can you see the differences?

wah I cant remember what I said. but the tone I used was the same with all the TD request. he was the only TD who refused and told me to even take other cab.

I can only speculate the following reasons why he refuse and told me to take other cab.
1) he scared cold
2) he doesnt like my tone
3) he wasnt thinking right
4) maybe he heard my request wrongly, maybe he heard it as asking him to drive 200kmh, thats why he said, go take other cab
5) bad mood
