Picking up pax NOT AT the 4 terminals

some airline crews(captains,officers, stewards of airlines) and staff of SATS board taxis at the 2 bus stops BO2,BO4 along airport boulveard,can pick them up & charge the $3 airport surcharge. some pax feeback that TD do not collect. but then if pick up fr airport police station can collect the $3.

the point is: 1) can pax be picked up fr these 2 bus stops? 2)if allow to pick up,is it not against LTA rule to add the $3 surcharge.

The boundary of the parimeter is much bigger than what most of TD has know.
Or i say LTA stupid or PIG brain( eat too much pig organ soup.
They draw the boundary where TD can collect the $3 surcharge
on the other end they put up a sign near the bus stop not far away saying a different boundary
surcharge you know i know , collect to give some benefit to the staff up to you
just like fare $11.20 you tell pax $11 will do ( coin hard to find for exchange if to change 80cents) so what wrong with it
As long there is no sign display on your taxi, no infringement

cargo complex... ALPS all can collect $3...
but like wat bro angwk7118 says... normal AP staff... if not take from TS... usually dun collect lah... coz if pick up at bus stop or drop cargo... also never Q... so not nice to collect rite?
plus AP staff actually dun earn much and usually long hours... sometimes really tired tale cab home coz next day hav to start early... - this one khoon knows coz khoon last time work at AP before... so dun collect lor...

Tell them got $3 surcharge and see what they say lor.. if they dun agree, then tell them:"sori capitan, here cannot pick hor I forgot... and zoom off lor"
if they agreed, then take lor. Just tell them instructor say one... "anywhere can hear aeroplane sound means within airport boundary!"

U want cheap taxis , u dun have a choice .
If pilot go Pan Pacific , discount 10% also no problem .
if pilot willing to me $8 extra to Woodlands , i also will say no !
Again , driving need skills ? Yes basic skills , most pilot can stay where ?
East Coast ? Bayshore ? Bedok ? Marine Parade ?
So for them no big deal with that $3 .
If those workers from ICC 1 , where u think they stay ?
Aiyo Tampines , Bedok , Pasir Ris , Simei , the Big 4 from East side .
Workers normally they ask before on board : " Uncle got surcharge ?"

I know lar , the reason why those pilots are waiting there , cos Woodlands Transport ( their main con for staff's transport ) cannot provide them any transport home at that point .

Today pick one taxi coordinator he says heart problem so go back take mc. Pick from T1. Send him to Bedok Reservoir. Actually reach there is $12.80 inclusive of surcharge so I wanted to give him discount just take $10 but he pass me $15 keep the change. I initally refuse knowing they earn not much and he is an uncle about late 50s and look a bit sick. But he tell me nevermind we all drive taxi also earning a living not easy. I really feel so paiseh as he insist I take the extra $5....

look carefully, the boundary are drawn at the airport turf and not on road.
