Hi, can anyone share their experience?
How can I get myself to prepare to join the Reds?
prepare not to hear any sounds from your MDT
Every journey is peaceful.
And of coz our helpful moderator Poolman will be so happy that Blues is losing a driver to reds.

Green to blue no advise from Pool. He said Blue = to Blur. phui.......him.

Reds ? Reds can act like " hello , no change NRIC ok ( at Safti ) ?"
" If want to change , take behind taxi " type of idea .
If Blue , pax wanna go SAFTI : " Change IC ? Can can can , my honour to do that ."
Comfort anything also can , anything cannot , prepare for their HQ those people cll you in the morning hours just before u sleep interview you .
Oh MDT ?
MDT ar ? For me to hang my Galaxy Tab most time .
Got sound ?
Got , honestly my shift after 8pm-11.00pm , outside CBD . Alot .
Esp Tekka area .
Why ? Cos Comfort drivers ignore their call , "No taxis around your area."
Although thousands zoomed past paxes , so they dulan call TransCab .
Actually i don't mind taking them if jobs got destinations .
But without destinations , i'll throw back the calls to Comfort , Silver , SMRT , Smart , Prime .
Most jobs that went to TransCab , i believe were despatched via LTA's hotline .
Any hotline that do not have any cabs avaiable , example , a pax called Comfort , within 3 search , no taxis , it will automatically divert to LTA hotline .
Then from LTA hotline , they search n despatch taxis available .
TransCab no taxis , re-route to SMRT ....
As in ranking by taxi fleet base on taxi population .
If TS want , u can anytime take such calls , alot , sian buay i take ? U siao ar ?
Reds are always reds ..... main task is to street pick .
No call . No need call , one must acclimax to the new environment totally different from CDG taxis .
Call leave it to others .
Just maintain a normal customer service , pick them , despatch them , take money , next pax pls .....
No need what "i'll give you my head " type of servive .
Want this kind of service , must dial for Limousine .
need time to adapt when refuelling
no more 17 diesel kiosks islandwide,only 3 cng stations
tis is the most difficult part i think
mdt got sound or no sound not an issue imo

1.8 will have some problems .
2.0 less .
Those staying East side will have more issues than those staying at West .
Those at East side , with relief , even more issues .
now with Serangoon North opening 24 hours , those issues cut down alot .
Esp those people staying at near Hougang .
Only issue , Serangoon North CNG more expensive than Toh Tuck .

That's right .... of course with Lake View , i fit into the CNG system very well .
seems like not much of a big issue....
i guess will learn the diff style of driving.

Sounds a good news for me coz I am staying at tpy.
Maybe can consider switch to Silver if u staying in the East.Heard from my friend that Sivercab hoy fatt road pump moving to Changi.Hyundai i30 pump outside petrol station also cheaper than Hyundai Sonata pump at CDG pump kiosk

Every 100km around $8.00 nett.
Finally.... I have put words into actions. Went to sign up as a driver with the reds just now.
but I think I am on waiting list. Need to wait for 3-4 weeks. Maybe due to I requested for a 2.0l and for 5xxxx series one.
No payments is made. Just fill up the forms and photocopy the 3 cards.

Huh, like this I only relief for red and blue better, go silver take back my deposit. Changi, damn far for me.
