  Maxwell Road flash flood

  Parts of Singapore, including Maxwell Road (picture) and Shenton Way, were hit by flash floods yesterday. Hotline callers told Channel NewsAsia that the water level at Shenton Way was about ankle-deep.

  then they say this kind of freak incident once in 50yrs.........  :P

  but the problem with this kind of alerts is by the time the driver reads and finds out about this, its usually either he had passed the danger and safely back to base, or hes back to base because his car already met big problem he is not driving anymore is there any live alerts? and what about some alerts coming in too late, the water is already deeper than ankle height?
