Bus and MRT fares had gone up, rice price had gone up, food price had gone up. fuel price had gone up, property is still going up despite all the wo ha about bursting, so is rental, from car to taxis to house/room rentals, most companies had AI (annual increment) on average 3 to 5% and above, on national average bonus (variable payment) is 3 to 4 mths, there is this company i heard give out 14mths of bonuses, knn, one year no need to work also can. They got about 20 staffs only. Lean and mean.Do all these justify a taxi fare increase?

Flag down may be adjusted to $0.30 more....
As for the meter jump.... it is still in the future pipeline of the raising fares...
Chryslers taxis are actually a expermental project on a higher meter jump. If the general public can accept... then... it could be implemented on the rest of the taxi fleets.

for the present... usually if drive full means next day off... so can chiong a bit more...

Dear All, I'm back again.... Seem like that there are always people wanting to join this trade. Perhaps I can share with you as a newbie as well. This will give you a contrast on those old birds's experience. It was only about 2 months ago, I was a super relief as part of my plan to recover all my losses in business and casino. Life as a TD is simply said --- "No Life". This is especially true for those working 9-6 Mon to Fri. What worst is the stigma, afraid that you might pick up someone you know in work. No doubt that this is an honest job, but.... Anyway.... always become TD as a last resort..... Be a super relief to horn your skill as there might be someday.... be a F/T TD. Having said that, i'm still available for super relief. PM me if you are going on holiday...

Ha Ha! I think I say sotong no. 2 no one dare say no 1. Who, morning peak, stay tuas, in Meyer rd take call big splash, go hid tuas on Saturday and Sunday night, Q airport on evening peak. Very clever right?

haha... My doing my own business... so timing very flexible.... sometime busy, sometime damn bloody Eng... Almost didn't make it in business during 2009 and try my hand in gambling.... only to make the debt worst... Anyway, business currently still not bad and looking to settle all my debt by end of the year.... But will continue to super relief once in a blue moon la...
