a full time job paying $1700/mth w full CPF working as a derl ydriver or bus driver or chauffeur 5.5 dys(sat half day) 7 am to 6 pm,and 8 am to 1 pm O/T rate at $10 an hr as compared to being a TD? all are welcome to disc this topic in to dy's high cost of living in SPORE.

delivery driver & bus stop very tiring jobs...
Chauffeur if attached to MDs, Cho Bo Lan most of the time.... 90% time sleeping..
.. u may take up part-time TD (in the evening) becos you have so much time idling in the day... 2-in-1 jobs.... . Furthermore, got leaves, got MC, got bonus.....CPF.... -

chauffeur..so far never try b4...so dunno! delivery or bus driver $1700...hard to got class 3,51/2 days!(u need class 4 to get that $1700), if got sure long working hrs or work at midnite r start work at 4am (must got own trnsport) (if bus thn u better go n see/check yours estate got any heavy vehicle parking lot b4 u go interview), need to carry heavy thing...sure Bao hill Bao sea wan! The most danger part is need to speeding to finish all the delivery schedule... OT??better dun go n think about it!! Somemore now got so many FW pull down the salary range liao...! Now still got class3,$900,6 working days... after CPF...left bone only... how to support family huh? -

not tat we locals wan very high pay but at least enuff for us to lead a decent

ask you all hor... can anyhow buy a class 3 mini bus and take pax or not har? like those private bus drive pple to work type... or must apply bus VL?

Bought my own Mercedes Viano... under PC plate.
Cannot anyhow take pax lah... common sense.... LTA loves to buy you kopi if you do that...........

1) Pte Hirer.
2) Children Bus.
3) Excursion Bus..
Majority of the PH are registered under Excursion Bus.... can take tourists, private bookings.... etc.

Yes... you need to sit for another Vocational Licence under PH.
Very easy to pass.... just pay $107 (course fee including GST)... and attend 2 weekends classes and a weekday evening class...and pass a MCQ test... 99.999% passing rate....... unless you are.....

i see those big bus (40 seater type) like easy money leh... morning take one trip... evening one trip... lunch 2-way trip 5 day week... wkend kick football one month at least 2K liao... correct?

Many are private limousines companies (like me).....
Some have more than 2 excursion buses (Toyota Hiace High roof or Mercedes Vito/Viano). Hence, the owner will lease out 1 of his vehicle to those who have PH VL or employ him (on trips basis), Free ERP, Free diesel.
There is no restriction (at this moment) that FT are not allowed to have PH VL, hence foreigners just have to sit for the VL course as per the citizens.
Class 3 mini bus - (fyi, the classes of vehicle are catergorizes by the weigh).
The requirement for 3 class mini-bus is that you need to have 9 pax seats.
Toyota Hiace has 13 seats.
The list prices are available at S$99,000 ONLY
... pending on COE category C. (currently COE at $37,011).Dimensions (L x W x H) (5380 x 1880 x 2285) mm. Carpark at $185 per month.
