So far to me , this quote "customers always right " , never exist in my dictionary . Those want this rights , these customers will get f*ck from me .
I mean if i am not in the fault .....
Maybe i big f*ck , f*ck customers up never get to LTA drink coffee .

A company is not a Judge, it is not their role to determine whose right or wrong and give justice. They have a bigger picture to look into. Upsetting the end consumer will not bring any good to the development of a company.
Taxi Driver seem to be the paying customer, but they are not the end consumer, they are classified as Business Partner. When this partner do not share the same vision on the developing, he will be in the "Disposal Tray".
It is your solely perception, mistakenly seeing yourself as a customer to the company. When one is using (even with payment) the company resources, to practice a profit-making trade, he is a Business Partner.
A Business Partner are to held responsibilities on all resources supplied and uphold the image created by the company. It is not the company responsibility to take care of your negligence.

The taxi business concept is about serving the public and more importantly, making money, it is not a charitable organisation, but a profit generated business with shareholders to answser for.
Simple logic will tell you, who is paying the profit, who is the value customer, who is feeding the organisation. Now, do you bite the hand who feed you or do you bite your own hand to suffer the hunger and lost in profit??
Branding is an important concept in business, once your brand is tarnished, you can be gone forever, same goes to movie stars and many other things. 1 customer complain can lead to many other listening and supporting him and the result is, people will start to evade that brand of taxi, end up less profit or worst, end of business.
So, before you approach your companies on any grievances or problem, please understand their position, I am not saying that they are right, but taxis companies view is much different from an individual driver, with that in mind, you are in a better position in discussing and also in a better way, relay your message across. Understanding your audience is critical in communication.

Although in business and service management, customers or paxs is alway right, but if your study management, that only apply in the capacity of a customer and the service provider/partner relationship.
Since we are in Taxi trade, we must learn to take customer or our paxs as merely a customer to serve within our trade boundaries, that is to ferry him or her to the destination as smoothly and as comfortably as it can be, nothing more, nothing less. In capacity of our trade or profession, that must 1st be achieveable, because that is how and why we earn our living. And in the capacity of the pax, he or she must know the perimeter of his or her request for a transport service render by a taxi driver. Therefore, the notion of pax is alway right stay within this perimeter, anything out of it, they can be wrong.
The pax has the right to direct you to her destination, the pax has the right for you upper the aircondition or lowering it, same goes to radio (even if it is yours), the pax also have the right to complain if service is not well met or that you stopped or Q at taxis stand, but refuse to take them.
The pax also have the right to get out of your taxis if he or she find is dissatisfaction, and finally, the pax can also give certain comment/feedback on the condition of the taxis.
But the pax has no right to get personnal with you thru personal attacking you, no right to go against the regulation, no right to criticise your integrity and values.
As long as you ply your trade within the regulations of your companies and the authority and acknowledge the rights of pax as in the capacity of a customer rights and not personnal rights. Then you are in a good position to argue anything professionally and diplomatically.
The same goes to those telcos and ISP providers, from singtel to M1 to starhub, you are their customer, you hv the rights only within the boundary as their customer, not go there and scold or shout at their staffs, or refuse to pay phone, or cannot paid and try to evade this and that with the notion as customer is alway rights, then they will kick you out of their customer list, but they do it diplomatically and orderly with their regulation.

sorry , since becoming a TD, a few already being throw out of taxi by me and not even a complaint on me, why? they know i am not at fault.
got one pax, from T2 going to changi business park, from boarding till he drop off, all the way kena scolding from me all the way.
