Ok boyz , from what i understand .... this patrols and the staffs are not directly employed by Traffic Police .
They are in fact payroll by LTA from what i heard .
Not only Subaru Impreza , u will see more Traffic Police with bike on the road working on pairs .
This is their new direction .
To deploy more marshalls on the road , which we don't see it under Wong Kan Seng .
A few years back , LTA wanted Traffic Police department to merge with LTA .
Not approved .
I think they have engaged Aetos Cisco to oversee some part of their daily operations .
But these Imprezas are authorised to perform equally effective task like those from their Traffic Police counterparts .
Just watch out for reports from Straits Times .
Sooner or later , there will be reports .

LTA wanted to "keng" the revenue from Traffic Police, but Traffic Police also need that revenue to contribute to the GDP and get rewarded by more bonus.

It's a National issue outside WKS .
I thought more patrols has to be deployed or needed, because one main key issue , was there is an increase on fatal accidents , involving motorcylists esp .
And have you ever heard of one complaint ? It took too long for the Police to come to assist in such situation .
Why ?
Yes , there was a shortage of man power .
Again , an increase of car population doesn't really help .
I never thought they are out for our heads when they have more patrols on the road .
They have better , important things to attend to .
As for why they used a Private car number plate ?
I think they dun belong to Spore Police Force , but Aetos Cisco .
Once belong to property of SPF , it's has to be QX .
Not even QY plate .

It's funny when people started to get worry .
I mean u drive and keep looking at every car plate numbers ?
I think by the time u can see clearly the number plate , you've been snapped !

I more clever , i look at the speed camera or speed detector at the roof top of that car !
I've seen that car ..... it's so obvious it's a Patrol car !
Also i thought it's another national issues as there are more expressways and new roads that required more patrol surveilliance .
Every departments from the government , their manpower has to be increase , to attend to the increase in population .

if anyone has the alphabets behing the remaining number plates then can tell if this is genuine or not.

I always thought TP job just to make sure roads are clear for VIP to go.
Police or TP or subaru WRX is not out there to catch lorry and taxis drivers, that will be a waste of resources, all these lorries, pick up and taxis, they leave it to motorcycle Mobile or Junior TP.
I believe bros and sisters on the road today have see an increase in sport cars, from ferrari to lamborgini to other middle class BM and Merc sportcars, you name it, the success of the rich getting richer is true, COE is like a dollar to them, with such increases, there are bound to have faster speed and dangerous driving which can cause road accident and harm other road users.
Common sense will tell you, you do not need a subaru WRX to chase a Wish, a sonata or a i30, crown, fit, just 400cc honda motorcycle will do. So, as along as you, as TD, who spend the most time on the road than any other motorist, drive within the limit, calm and cool, you drive happily.
As a seaman, when I was in Germany, the auto bahn (german expressway within interstate, and into austria, italy, french and switzerland ) has no speed limits. If a ferarri or Merc (which is cheap there) can go up to 200km/hr , so be it, that is what the cars were designed for, the traffic police will not go after you, infact they cannot even go after you with a BM, once exceed 200km/hr, the police helicopter will go after you, the police helicopter will not go after a toyota or honda or even a Audi

yah i like their auto bahn~~~~ swee but some parts do hav speed limits .
anyway saw a subaru ydae nite with the radar tin on top with the police
logo. didnt look closey at the car plate cause ferrying pax
