Comfort Taxi confirmed Fare Revision with effect from 12 Dec 2011.
Announced this evening at 5pm.
Flag down up 20 cents
Distance 400m and 350m - 22 cents
Waiting time -22 cents
Peak surcharge everyday , 25% down from 35% , time 6am to 930am
6pm to Midnight
CBD Surcharge $3 everyday
Call booking reduced by 20 cents .
Midnight 50% surcharge unchange .

now sunday nites in estates already no taxis...
with city surcharge on sundays... those in estates after eat dinner at parents / in-law place drag two kids want go home... muz call for taxi liao...

if other taxi company follow
by my calculation day night shift TD huat leh, day won't have much changes in taking collection likely from minus 5% to plus 8%,
really XIAN.................................................

i suspect premium taxi will follow cos last week sudden call back to do meter urgrading, maybe they will follow .

if all otherds follow...
day collection will down by about 5% - 10% during peak... not sure if the 6am start peak will help anot...
and more will change shiift 5-5 or 6-6...

print the pdf file and put on the taxi or give to other taxi company DRO and demand the changes !!!!!!!

already on channelnews asia web site. comfirm. The best is to remove the 35% surchage during peak hours but increase the flag down by 10 cent and reduce the distance to every 200m jump 20cent and $3 surcharge every where after 5pm even on sunday and holiday and at 6am to 9am $3 surcharge.

According to the writeup, they increase here but decrease there, end up the same.

It is Overall increased.... the meter jumps 10% faster on the new implementation.
from 20% to 22%.
Flag down... Mercedes cab from $3.20 up to $3.90. (21%). Komade, WizQ, Mercabs... Ho Say liao
Current Mercedes Cab $8 up to $10.
Advance Mercedes $16 up to $18. Jia Pei Liao...
Current Normal $2.50 down to $2.30.
Advance Normal $5.20 up to $8.00.
Every day (evening) 6pm to Midnite Peak Hour 25%. (including Sunday & Public Holiday). down 10% but Peak hours duration also increased to 6 hours (from 5pm to 8pm, 3hrs).
Night drivers....

the changes which look set to benefit the evening shift i think is also a way to let hirer to get relief to drive night to increase the idle taxi (omo) on the road, so one way look good , another way look at it maybe bad, don't know how they come out with this new fare structure

KNN never change sat or sun morning to peak hour also
sat / sun some timing also no cab, pax always complain cannot find cab.

Yes... the day peak starts from 6am to 9.30am ( only 1hr duration increased but 10% decrease on meter ).

12mn to 6am - midnight surcharge
6am to 9.30am - peak surcharge
6pm to 12mn - peak surcharge....surcharge non-stop one... might as well increase the fare and then give discount on non-peak hours.. ppl will be more happy

remains the same... NO PEAK HOURs...
then who will drive on these days ?
Night Weekends (Sat & Sunday)....
Peak hours from 6pm to 12am. 25% on Meter.
Still got CBD $3 surcharge on Sunday... Jia Pei Liao... for Night drivers.

Haha... so confusing....(especially for tourists & foreigners).
Luckily i drive.
(no need to take taxi... but good to understand... still have TDVL).
