Toh Tuck pump closing in 2 years ?

Had coffee with one of the LV committe member. He says our Red boss says in the paper yesterday he is closing down the Toh Tuck CNG Kiosk operation in 2 years time. Anyone can verify this matter?

i only saw NEA going for something like vehicle labelling stuffs like that .

Maybe close down this one only .... and come out one with a smaller premises , like 24 pumps , instead of the current 45 ?
Since government withdraw incentives to green cars . . . and impose CNG taxes , they are shrinking the CNG operations altogether . No point spending resources for 40 over pumps . With lesser CNG cars on the road from next year .
If they close down Toh Tuck , what will happened to those Toyota Wish SHD-5000 to SHD 9000 series which has at least 3-4 years to go ?
Like 96's Wish , at least 4 more years to go .
I think they have plans to have a building or HQ , which integrated all services in one stop .
Diesel sales , CNG sales , servicing and operations to replace the aging Defu HQ .

what i heard is that those wish coming to 5 years old will all be scrapped. probably the 1.8s & then our dear Mr Panamera will come out and say , we chut chevrolet for U but pls pay rental of $115.
Anyway , hang on to your wish for as long as possible . It is the last time u are ever gonna see taxi rentals below $100.

But hor again I think he quite steady because among all the company ours has the highest incentive leh....

Hang on with our lower overhead Wish .
At just $79 nett , after all benefits , my relief paying me $35 , so basically i just paying $44 for an automatic taxi from 3pm to 6am .
16 hours ..... per hour i am paying just $2.75 .
Imagine i drive everyday from 3pm to 6am ?
Huat bo ? Hahahahahaha
CNG how troublesome also worth it !

i think they can dismantle the CNG tanks and export all those vehicles out. Toyota everywhere also in demand , thats why after 10 years when u scrap a toyota , u get a body price on top of your parf value.

The day red on take on chevrolet, you all should had know what is coming, city spring, a temasek group of high level shareholders company who deal with gas is not doing well, look at their shares, being plunging since IPO when CNG was introduced. The only good thing left is their dividends. Other than that, all those who bought their stock can drop pants and will drop further if they hold on.
The red boss is smart, he sees that the operation cost is going to effect his business, since committed to wish on CNG with a big bang of low rental rates and good monthly incentives that attracted newbies and old drivers alike, today, he sees it as impractical anymore if he really wants to make better profit inorder to answer his bosses who could had given him a KPI on net profit to achieve. Restructuring is on the horizon, in fact, it already started, but I do not like red chevrolet, color not nice leh
