Yah , some cabbies screamed when told they have to settle some Medisave owed to CPF when renewing license .
I actually do not have such problems .
After so many years of driving , i never contribute at all to my medisave account .
I guessed CPF screen through all those records for Singaporeans when asking for Medisave top up .
Once u have got those relevant insurance back up , it should be enough , as good as topping up your Medisave .
If CPF insist i top up my Medisave , i really dun mind . I have preparations for all money that had been idling inside Medisave , dump what's available for another policy .

for those comfort drivers use the CTOA card to pump ur diesel
everyday per liter pay $0.10 but goes to ur medisave. A few dollars
a day more nia but it goes a long way.........
