Maybe I was not clear. LTA will go after them. We do not need to do anything. No need license plate info. The advertisment is enough.
For other cases, if you witness pirate taxi in action, just report the license plate to LTA by calling 65535282.

Fellas, no offence but with you guys always complaining bout horrible passengers the minute someone comes up with an idea you're quick to return the favour? I mean I support the legal measures that some of you are taking to ensure that you're business isn't affected (I think that's fair and warrented) but if you intend to go all out to destroy the bugger...... Well, karma can be a bitch.

What karma? Look at his brochure, doesn't he complain about taxis and taxi drivers? He gets what he deserves. If we misbehave or break the rules, LTA never gives us a chance, now that taxi driving is a bit more lucrative (to them, more taxis on the road means lucrative, less taxis mean less enforcement).
A lot of us however are compelled to ignore some rules which are really dumb, eg: OMO hirer returning home cannot put change shift and many others. We take a risk in these but because the rules are dumb, we need to do what we have to for our own needs and family's.
But if a pax complains or LTA gets us, can we blame it on karma? Or hope they too get it. These guys took it upon themselves to try and make a killing without following the Law, it's a risk they took and thus must be prepared to face the consequences if caught. Maybe you have not lived through the era of pirate taxis, I did, although i was a kid then, but I kid you not, the taxi industry now is really very very good compared to then. Sure there must some improvement, but you're barking up the wrong tree looking at us.
It's the taxi companies and LTA that needs to get their act together and work proactively with us and passengers. Until they do, service complains will always occur.
