amount shown on the mdt is different from the meter

  I just found out that the amount shown on the mdt is different from the meter.          

  The receipt is printed from the meter k1 ... Sp all along i have been collecting less ....   Any one notice this ???

  U mean MDT different from receipt la.

  I thought MDT different from meter cos did not add u all the surcharges.

  Once got a HK lady who gave me 2 $5 notes after I press the meter and said "keep the change" When I look at the MDT, it read as $15. Cos she did not add up the surcharges and the booking fees.

  Anyway, I always collect based on the MDT, never tried looking at receipt before.

   Yours seems to be a serious software problem, better get them to check.

  When you stop the meter (maybe at 0605 hrs), mdt reflect the total fare as at 0605 hrs.

  But if you observe next time, the meter fare will continue to increase (even though meter is stopped) whereas the mdt amount will not change. That's why when you print using K1, info (from the meter) on the receipt is different from that on mdt.

  Trans or CDG? When you press stop meter actually it only stop the timer so no matter how long you take to count money or talk cock with pax it wun jump every 45s. But hor if you move the cab it will still jump according to the distance travel. Because got once I go soon heng repair some loose wirings they test the meter by start and stop meter then drive the cab one round Sin Ming meter will jump when reach 1km mark then they print receipt the distance shows exactly 1km.

  So sometimes when I reach car park or taxi stand I stop meter and the fare come out on the MDT is same as meter. But when I move forward to the alighting point sometimes the meter will jump because it still calculates the distance travel but since meter already stop so MDT still shows the fare before the jump.

  Conclusion. Only stop meter when vehicle comes to a complete stop where pax is dropping off. But hor I still stop meter once I reach carpark or taxi stand if not pax will think I hard up for another $0.22 while queuing up to alight them at the proper alighting point.

  TransCab used K4 on taximeter . . . . the most most accurate , unless u forgotten to key in those extras .

  Or else , never will go wrong , what u saw on meter , what u'll get on the printer .

  MDT ? MDT for me to hang my Galaxy Tab lar fuck .....
