peak hour CBD booking but TP and LTA officer at taxi stand

Today I took a 6pm booking from Hitachi Tower to Red House Seafood. Go there 20 mins early and wait. Fucking hell TP bike come and wave me off. So go to Singapore Land Tower and wait. Fucking hell LTA officer come and wave me off. This time I angry liao. Wind down window and shout at LTA officer. "I got CumFark booking lah, cannot wait here tell CumFark not to accept CBD peak hour booking!" So he pointed at the second last empty lot at the taxi stand and I wait lor. Then I called LTA and complained to them. Why the fuck got TP and LTA officer telling taxi to go off at taxi stand. Want to wave taxi off, please tell CumFark not to accept peak hour CBD bookings OK !!? LTA officer said he will note down the complain.

Lucky got consolation prize of $42.50 for the trip. Wonder which farker told TP and LTA to patrol there. If LTA dun want to see taxi in CBD, please remove the farking taxi stand. But if got taxi stand, must allow taxi to wait if got booking. If they cannot tolerate too many taxi bookings, then they must find a solution.
Its like the Orchard Road flood. Stamford Canal is not big enough, so must figure out something.
Same for taxi. LTA want to approve 28K cabs OTR, then be prepared for the consequences. Otherwise cut down the cab population.

Both E32 and E13 are taxi stops
Should wait b4 the taxi stop where many pte cars are waiting, when confirm pax arrived then go to taxi stop
LTA is just doing their job to enforce - no waiting at taxi stops
For taxi stands can wait as long as you want, eg market street, telok ayer street, etc

Those fuckers want to enforce law must go all the way. Tell comfort not to allow bookings at taxi stops. LTA go airport boulevard n enforce their law. If really go all the way, Taxi business cannot be done.
What wait before taxi stand together with private car? That was where TP came to chase people off including me. Why u think i so mad?

yo bro why so hot? If they dont enforce at hitachi tower , there will be chaos there. Many times at collyer quay already start to jam coz a few clowns park along arcade all the way to hitachi tower and jam up 1 lane.
Its just like the lucky plaza and paragon situation.
how come traffic stuff also become comfort's problem ah? To not go thru all that again , i have a suggestion , take call at TUAS. the best place in singapore . You can smoke , pee , throw litter , park anyhow , noone will give a fuck abt u.

Collyer Quay, Battery Road, Chulia Street, Pickering Street are hotspots at rush hours.... if every taxis "on call" want to wait a while lah.... then... mega jam liao...
. 20mins to wait = ah bit early lah.... you 1st day driving cab meh ? (no offence.. but it is true lah... go hide some where... best call pax to sms you when they are down.... since it is an advance Maxi cab call) -

Shouting is not offence mah. No vulgar can liao. But this kind of booking seldom come lah. Peak hr CBD booking agar agar no net $40+ i wont bother too.
After shouting they let me wait at taxi stop never disturb me liao.

You can wait at One George Street or China Street
.... (Free parking....)... parking wardens (LTA enforcement) seldom come here... they are too busy at the main roads (Collyer Quay, Battery Rd, Pickering etc). -
When I waits for my pick up for my disposal jobs.... I don't hog around busy street.... the lesser the traffic... the better....

It was not jam or anything. I was not sure what the TP was trying to do. I came here for booking. Cab booking is permitted by LTA. LTA also knows that OC cabs need to do some waiting. If they want to chase me off, it means I committed an offense. And if their strict interpretation of the law meant cab booking is not feasible at collyer quay, then by all means tell Comfort to stop accepting advance or current bookings there, just like airport.
But we all know, government work is like that. Chase taxi off, pax no cab, LTA kenna fucked. Dont chase taxi off, road jam, LTA also kenna fucked.
I have no pity on them though. Since they chose this line of work, it means they have to expect their ass being rammed by the public, just like LTA and TP like to ram the ass of those who broke their laws and got caught.
I wait there is no salah one. Traffic was pretty good. Taxi stand was PNG, no taxi queuing. I wait there for booking and got waved off, is something that should not happen. Its their mistake liao. Road jam, I can understand. But it was almost free flow but heavy traffic, so it makes me feel like the officers very eng.
Imagine kenna Centrepoint advance booking and the taxi stand was full house and LTA officer standby behind. Eh tulan bey tulan? Cannot wait there? Make one big circle and later pax no show or say will be late, then how? These kind of peak hour CBD bookings are very risky right?

Those who drove long enough , do u all rem millenia tower and capital tower? Milennia Tower was notorious for chasing On call taxis away making the TD make one big big U turn, Capital Tower cannot wait at lobby muz wait outside.
I dunno what changed milennia's tower no waiting policy but i know capital tower changed coz comfort banned all their tenants from calling from fixed lines after many many complains by TD.
inside capital tower got GIC , got temasek holdings but still ban. Comfort power bo ? haha

We taxi driver are a part of the stake holder in singapore public road transport, these include buses, many other transport, LTA, TP and all companies involving business in public road usage, as such, I do not see why TP or LTA officers are so unreasonable and flexible for your case, once I was at chinasquare Taxi stand on call, constantly 5 cabs on the stand wait, pick and go, I was on blinking light, TP arrived, ask me to move on, i told him on call, give me 10 minutes, he thinks, ok 10 minutes you move out, I say aye aye sir. Guess I get a luckier guy who give and take, flexible and reasonable. 8 minutes later, pax board, to airport. -

Till today, i still couldn't accept the fact that Taxi causing congestion while on queue at Taxi Stand or Stop.
They intoduce the ideal of Taxi Stand, they influx the population of Taxi, they did nothing to accommodate the population, to design a smooth flow where Taxi Stand is availiable. They punish Taxi Driver for their incompetency at the excuse of public complaint.
They even did nothing to pursuade the public on understanding the situation, they just "fine" with complaint that come along.
When on queue, we are there to serve, it had become the nature of the business create by them.

Got taxi they say expensive. Say we go long way. Go fast grp A nag. Go slow grp B nag. How to be bored? Drive cab can be quite interesting to see people n their pattern.
