Now worst hit is Prime , and some SMRT Azera , if they go transcab . its $1.90 per kg . . . not $1.70 per kg . Non member no.priviledge. Go Smart even worst . Saw from newspaper , Prime converting their cng taxis into petrol generated taxis . . . those Toyota Wish 5 years contract drivers steam . . . I think i will sue Prime for that!

For those small player, even Transcab, whoever bring in hybrid car will win the race against CDG. Of course not like Prime kind of 5 years contract and no relief allow term. As quoted by F1, our Fares Structure are not design for OMO at present rental rate. Prime just come into this business with micro ball (small lan par). CDG do not bring in hybrid for an obvious reason, there will be a substantial decrease in their revenue from diesel and affecting their overall performance. Fuel is part of the cost for Cabby, and lots of wastage are gone on queuing, slow moving traffic and traffic light stop and go. Another important factor, the convenience and frequency on refilling.

As said before, initially, CNG was a notatable gas to take over petrol and diesel, it went into full production operation, big wow ha, digged big well and tanks to store it, then suddenly oil price dropped, most private car switch back to petrol, wasted that $1600 to convert to CNG with a big tank. Temasek at first see that opportunity and invest on it with Trancabs as their carrier of CNG.For a start everything look so promising, CIty spring goes into IPO at $1.50, all rush for it given promised good dividends. Then things begin to turn around, oil prices went down, economy went up, people go back to use oil, city spring drop to below 50cents, and most lost badly, lucky I never get the IPO, lost in the balloting.

CNG is currently facing the same problem, with less buyers and yet having the same staff and operational workers to pay for, the price will certainly go up to cover the cost of production.

Looking at the current situation, they for sure will increase the price of CNG. Only problem is whether to do it one go, or bit by bit.
Higher CNG means Throw Key for CNG Taxis. Go petrol? kai wan seow.
More Throw Keys means that Taxi Company management have to decide whether to write off the vehicles, since it is rusting in their carpark. Or introduce more perks (Pool's favorite) until the current lot of CNG Taxis phased out.
If introduce more perks, then I surely will sign up a Wish.
Seems like go Green is going down the drain. Goberment says support, but slap duty and tax. TC like SS.

If CNG is working, Transcab will not go into Chevy, recently just downloaded 100 transcab chevy at west pier, met a few transcab servicing engineer there, they are doing the inspection and testing, most were trained in japan on wish, recently went to korea to train on chevy, it is going to be a heart painful switch for transcab.
