Dear Graduate Driver, First of all, there are many degree holders / MBA holders driving Taxi If you think driving a taxi is a shame, then you better find a job that is suitable to your status as a graduate. If you think driving taxi can make you rich, dream on. 15K a month...what a joke My advice is for you to stay on your job and spend some more time doing up your resume.

Can earn 6k but must multi task lor. Do 'chicken and duck sales' on the side. Escort service, like that sure guarantee one can earn 6k. Heck maybe you needn't drive so much also, use the taxi as a personal ferry service.

If it's 12 to 15k a month, all the graduates above 30 years old will be driving taxis already. Please do a rough check yourself. Information are available on the taxi company's website. Rental per day, surcharges, flag down rate, hours of driving, diesel costs, etc.

I am sorry to tell you that you are wrong about your estimates of $6K per month. You can actually achieve higher than what you have estimated. Around $7.5K per month. But that is if you work hard, know where to go and you Don't Pay Rental and Don't deduct diesel cost. What guaranteed income??? No such thing as guaranteed in life. If you hit a road bump in life and take a tumble and need taxi driving to tide you over then I suggest that you get off your high horse and lower your expectations. I suggest you read about this PHD holder Cai Mingjie was the head research scientist for AStar who became a taxi driver. You are not the only guy that lost a 5 figure paying job.

Err why so pai seh letting your frens know if you are driving a taxi?? u will not enjoy driving, even for a short term, if you urself look down on this profession... Pride, big ego??? If u dun enjoy driving, how to earn enuf money for ur family?? 6k per month??? To be fair, it is possible.. But can you drive for at 15-18hrs per day with no rest day???? to make $200 per day, u need to collect daily fare about $350 per day to offset rental ($100++) and diseasl ($50)... AIyo why ur expenses so heavy one.. need 8k to 10k per month? Cant you readjust ur own expectations / lifestyle?? Cut down those expensive buys / meals / electricity bills.....
