Traffic Police are urging LTA and taxi companies to suck more money from us .

I remember when i started driving a taxi for transcab.
Didn't know what the panic button was for....accidentally pressed it and left it there overnight.
Transcab didn't even bother calling me at all -.-
What is the use of all these security systems if the taxi companies do not even care whether the driver died or not -.-

Anyway guys , my opinion .
Live and death .... is "preset" by God one .
U cannot escape death ..... when u have to go , u just got to go .
How we die , doesn't matter .
Died tragically or died in your sleep , same still die .
What matter most , it's what will happen to your family which u left behind ?
Worst left behind a non working widow , 3 kids in school ......
How ?
Yes , u must be well prepared for everything .
I already signed , ages ago , my house "Housing Protection Scheme" , meaning if i died , house no need finance anymore .
Settled one .
Then buy a Life Insurance , once dead , money will come as long as u finance the premium consistently until mature .
No die , upon maturity , got a lump sum of money for your family as well .
Settled 2 .
When i am alive , my children will have their own insurance policies until 21 .
Settles 3 .
And a bit of savings for raining day .
Die also die with Pride that way .

And i know , if i drive a cab and died which is not my fault ..... no matter how , the 3rd party insurance will still come in .
Although not much , still okay .
In Singapore , to be honest , our life worth nothing , layman esp .
Unless u are Minsiter level , one month earn millions of dollars , wasted if u died .

Fuck lah ...... being alive is even worst , die is so much better .

Enjoy life ... play abdminton , see soccer , do what u like to do .
Eat 3/4 full all the time , exercise a lot . rest more .
Of cours work still need to work .
But working duration must agar agar .... cannot too short cannot too long , just nice .

If scared , buy a sign board like that put inside your cab .
Whether it works , i dunno .
But psychologically .... it does work a bit .
Imagine the attacker saw such sign ?
They will think twice .
Whether or not your cab has got a camera , they also will be not sure .
But my cab do have a camera .
Whether or not my camera monitor activites inside the cab , pax dunno one .
But they will think twice about doing anything funny .

Mustapha got sell such dummies for $5 .
Got light sensor battery operated .
Just a dummie .
Put inside the corner of your cab ..... scared them .

LTA check me ? Can , check lor .... i can even open up the dummies and show them what's inside and throw it away and buy a new one .

But then, some who became widower actually are happy that their stupid, lazy, womaniser and drinking husband had passed away, some can collect insurance and CPF and also fully owned the house, I use to collect bodies of some old uncles, the wife will cry, but then when talk to relatives, they will slip a few words...die better, lesser our burden to worry and hv to withstand his erratic temper..
So you might not know, some wifeys prefer their husbands to die faster.

Installing CCTV is a double sided blade for police, one side is said to protect the driver, the other side is to mark down the driver.

passenger's face..... Actually not weird suggestion most countries have in cab CCTV to prevent abuse of drivers and fare runners.
Alot of those countries with taxi cam using cameras from this company. http://www.verifeye.com/index.php
Not just single or dual, but sometimes up to 4 cameras, and some models allow remote download of video thru MDT. So if got case, just call the company and they remotely download the video or images from head office.
These taxi cameras have been around not for 1-2yrs, they have been in use since 1999. So can say Singapore more then 10yrs slower in implementing such systems.
You can download the video file from the individual product page to view how the video/images are captured.
Singapore, no taxi company willing to fork out the cost of installing such CCTV. Taxi Driver welfare is the lowest priority here.
That is why i buy my own dual lens DVR, record front and back.

CDG $300+ front only recording.
TC $160+ front only recording.
Buy myself $120+ front and rear recording+ audio + GPS mapping + G-force sensor (for impact detection, auto lock file)
Next month maybe buy another dual lens dvr to test out $600+ one
