Switching from SMRT to CDG

Hey brothers and sisters,
I am considering to switch from SMRT Epica to CDG Sonata. According to the contract, I only need to pay $50 to return after 6 months.
5 factors affecting my decision.
1) Daily Rental.
SMRT Epica daily rental is $115.56 inclusive of GST. Hearsay CDG Sonata daily rental is $108.00 (+GST)?
2) Fuel Cost.
SMRT Epica can travelled about 10km per litres of diesel. Hearsay CDG Sonata can travelled about 12km per litres of diesel?
3) Cab Bookings.
Hearsay CDG has more cab bookings than SMRT.
4) Starting Fare.
Some Pax perfer CDG Sonata (3.20) than SMRT Epica (3.40). I have encountered a few cases.
5) Payment System.
CDG has e-voucher and cabcharge. Seems to have more advance payment system than SMRT.
Do you think I should switch from SMRT to CDG?

Bro, I live in Woodlands. Attended TDVL course in SMRT's woodlands depot.
So, when the offer from SMRT comes, take first think later. 6 months is not too long.

CDG at Sin Ming.........nothing better than centralize..........
But if really you switch to CDG, request your servicing either at Braddell or Sin Ming..........or else Changi Loyang, too far from your home.........lol

Ya confirm use less diesel and cheaper diesel @ $1.14

No need hearsay...this one confirm!!!!

Not necessary but some is because of cab charge/e-voucher....

Yes this is true. For example in CBD every taxi stand long queue of taxi. So will have advantage of cab charge pax booking taxi. Go ulu place like Tuas at night also got alot of cab charge call. And best is the cashless next day settlement for all type of cards.

But CDG is v ya ya & v strict. Read some threads fr this forum will tell u that CDG will terminate w/o yr defence heard,they ONLY listen to pax,treat them not as King but Supreme Emperor. All other taxi co can talk & more passionate & give chance for yr defence.

u comfirm sonata can run 12km/L...i hearsay less than 10km..
sunday only smrt got $3 surcharge mbs...
switch to cdg maybe can be relax abit...
but to earn more same as ur driving hr now, i doubt so..

Newer one Sonata can lah....
Now I earn less cos drive lesser liao...More and more idle liao....how ah?

Now we quote case by case basis..........not in overall, individual got different preference...........
Since TS got this intention.........than we advise la...........
If TS happy in SMRT, this thread won't appear liao...........

Lan sai la...cdg got many jia hong chu tua tua kin like u..
If still dr wish, $80+$30+$50, 6-12PM can keep car liao, still nid do split shift meh.

i already got more than10 complaints fr paxs plus complaints fr other drivers!but still never get terminated!

Yeah, after 6 mths only pay $50 according to contract. But whats not in the contract? Hearsay any tiny scratch or dent will be borne by u..so just gotta be careful here. If can, patch up whatever scratches before returning.

We had told MMO those differences before he signed up the SMRT Chevy .....
But he said he already decided taking up the Chevy ..... cos he has got something like regulars and prepared those name cards to built up his business .
Now he realized ?
Drive SMRT and join T jurong radio taxis ..... not the best match .
If Tm Jurong less calls , SMRT cannot help .
But with CDG , if Tm Jurong less calls , CDG surely can help .

But i thought it's not ideal to join Taman Jurong ...... their Old Birds are damn solid one , new bird where can fight ? Smell their diesel only
Not a bad idea to join CDG .... and concentrate on just doing CDG's jobs , no need any talkie yet ..... trained until solid solid liao , then rejoin back .
My Tuas knowledge was trained by Comfort .
That's not a secret .
Plus a bit of our own effort mastering Tuas .

Taman Jurong calls only saturated in Gul Circle and Tuas areas ....
Dun learn too much one .
No point learning Tuas where other parts of Sgp is equally important , if not more important .
CDG is island wide training .

It's also not a bad idea to try out all taxis in Sgp .
I am on the way there ...... to drive all taxis , hahahah

Ya loh throw away the TJ talkie lah. Their old bird damn solid. Know where and when got call. Dun waste time lah. Join CDG Tuas call anytime can match them.

One problem if i joined TJ radio taxis ..... everytime must shoot back to Tuas , knn very waste diesel hahahah
And must grap those trips to Jurong area , CCK , Batok etc.... too far shiong hahahahah
Cos their calls saturated in Gul Circle and Tuas area .

Like today rws paxs so many, taxis also many. i at st james pick and go liao loh...where got time take call and search for actual pick up point and pax...
