Good deal or not?

Last night at around 2am drop a pax off at keong saik road then a chap came to me and ask:" uncle, i give you $80, can you drive my car and send me home at bukit batok?" i replied "ok lor". Then i quickly park my taxi and drove him home. The i took a cab back and the fare was $20.
Was it a good deal? Anyone encounter such thing before?

He's drunk issit? that's why cannot drive?
But careful, some old ppl like to say such case abit strange... maybe carrying simi drugs in the car etc etc...

that a gd answer to odd request. try to b helpful, but mata go by book. all the paxs park their car, take my taxi, go home koon n come bk take car themselve.

I ever pick up one car jockey before, he work for company one, handle mostly Korean client, he say business ok, easy job just drive people back home with their car then take cab back to the hotel/club he working.

very good rate....
normal industry rate (for cabbies) is around $60.
Did u give your contact number to him ? He can be your day-saver if that night is OBK.

Car Jockey can sense whether the said driver is drunk or not mah... got eyes to see.....
& if not comfortable, then u can opt out....
but... if dun do, how to match.....

I used to do that... my regular used to stay at Tampines Street 84, I will call BCL to wait for me there.... (Bro BCL, U remember ?)
The market rate is at $60. Regular guest sometimes give me $100-$200.

Car jockey is 1 thing, usually we only deal with customers we had know for many years...........not any hookers from the street...........
Should say is part of added services for limousine drivers.........
Therefore the concern by Acid is also valid........knn, really got drug hidden in the car, die also don't know what happen..........
Quick money of course is good, but must assess properly before you decide whether is worthwhile or not............
Got once, flag down by 2 tatoo beng, told me go drive behind to small lane, than I realised got few boxes need to load.........
With my beng instinct, of course insist and demand to check those boxes, than the 2 beng started to get violent, saying I'm just a TD, get your fare and keep quiet..........
Than I also hot liao mah.........tell them, want to do, do big big.........one look already can tell is contraband cigarette.......knn, only bangali will do this kind of fark business...........cb want to use TD as a cover, go and fark spider better...........
They sway kanna me..........so TD beware, strangers after all is still a strangers, be alert especially for night TD.............

Car jockey for Club and Night Spot is very different ball game.........not enough real car jockey(salary pay), than they will need to rely on someone they trust.........and most time, someone they trust will end up engage kakis or WORST still page out from group...........
All this Dog Mother Snake limousine drivers SMLJ also want to earn, for 10pts, they want people to go "holland"?.............
Now TS are talking about a complete strangers, out of nowhere, on the street, approach him to do the service............benefit of doubt..........that's what I mean............
Anyway, I always discourage to put other TD at risk to do Car Jockey transfer...........We want to sell this service, jolly well serve our own...........
There's always a risk handling other people car.........Z4 or Ferrari..........so easy to handle?.............
Even normal saloon car, will also have risk...........and sometime, for the mild 60pts, you ended up losing your long trust clients..............
Many forumers here might not understand what we meant because they might not understand what limousine can do wonders...........anyway, bo dai ji tio ho, hu dai ji than kpkb, than too late liao...........

well,
I only ferried my own clientele (used to pick from the street, just like a normal passenger).
As limousine cabby, I normally passed out namecards once i sensed that there is a potential for future businesses, in regards to whether it is an AP transfer or car jockey transfer (which is also advertised behind my namecards).
Even Group page Car Jockey's transfer carry risks of pax complaining their personal items missing (in their vehicles) on the next day.... or their sports rims got scratched (by the road kerb) as we may not be too familiar with bigger cars.
My advice is... do it at your own risk... the money may be good..... but not as good as HOURLY DISPOSAL.

Ya lor, sell pork, sell pork lah, sell fish, sell fish lor, drive normal taxis, drive like a normal and simple cabby, drive limo, then drive like a limo style lor, it you want to do stunt or easily get motivated by $$, not wrong, so be it. But at your own risk.
For me, I will tell him, me cabby, you take my cab home safe and sound, then later you can get your wife or brother to come down and I drive them back to take your car, gum bo, if he said not gum, then, fark off lor, and if he said, wha $80 also dun want to take ar..then I tell him, my income 10k per month, take your $80 for fark?

$80 will only be good easy money when it is simple.
when you have doubt, don't do
if you want to do, ready to face the consequences
what consquences?....... when you have this thought, it is making it complicated, so don't do.
good deal or not, whenever it make you happy, $10 also a good deal
