The number of drivers committing traffic offences has risen, with the largest increase seen in those caught for inconsiderate driving.
In a routine four-hour operation, the Traffic Police said 40 motorists were stopped for various offences.
One driver was caught for speeding at 134 kilometres per hour on an expressway with a speed limit of 90 kilometres per hour. Others were caught for stopping at road shoulders and for road hogging. One van driver was nabbed for speeding on the extreme express right lane.
The Traffic Police said about 5,000 motorists were booked for inconsiderate driving in 2011 - some 1,000 more than the previous year.
Speeding offences saw an increase of about 10 percent.
The numbers of motorists caught for reckless driving, however, saw an improvement. The number of offenders under this category fell by about 20 per cent.By Seet Sok Hwee | Posted: 01 November 2012 2115 hrs

definition of road hogging,if ur in lane 1 travelling at ard 90 km/hr,in front have at least 2 car lengths,behind u 2 or more vehicles following closely to each other,then it's road hogging!

It's never a problem for me ... i just overtook them using centre lane .
I let others deal with them ....
I got better things to do ...
TP dun bother abour road hogging , why should we care ?
I gave up liao on TP tracking road hoggers .

I dislike most it's those cars ... cut in from left side all the way into right !

I hate such drivers the most .

Modified Suzuki Swift
Champion i hated : Honda Civic 2-door VTI ...... modified type .
They actually cannot beat Skoda Silver Arrow , but act like their turbo very powerful , fuck lah .

I also hated civilian Mercedes Benz drivers .... never understand why they love to drive 80km/hr at extreme right lane !
And when we overtook them , they high beam us .
Then whenever i glance across , it's either a old uncle driver , or Lao Chio Bu old auntie driver .
