[Road Closure] Sunday 11 November

  Don't know why LTA site no info on this:

  Road closures this Sunday (11 Nov) as a result of two events - the Great Eastern Women's Run and the National Day Investiture.

  Road closures along Nicoll Highway, Raffles Avenue and Rhu Cross in the morning.

  Kent Ridge Crescent closed from 2.30pm to 11.59pm.

  I park oneside and watch the women run, lots of bak bak papayas to see, up and down, up and down, then later geyland also near near.

  Sunday normally i don't drive.

  The road closure info not only for avoiding the closed roads. But such events like Marathon, road closure usally means most participants will not be driving to the event.

  Since most Marathon starts very early morning and participants usually go early, when bus or MRT still have not start. Means on the day 4-5am still got chance to find pax in neighbourhood heading to town (event area)

  Some Marathon they provide bus service though, like the previous Real Run, but at least still got pax take cab to the bus pick up point when midnight surcharge still in effect.

  Also after the run, can find sweaty ladies without makeup looking for a ride home
