My bukit panjang kaki .... a cdg driver , called me once : " KC , my daughter at Garden by the bay , call comfort also no taxi , i at home liao , u can help page out a job ?"
"Ok"
"Garden By the bay one taxi to Bukit Panjang ?"
three time no taker ....
Then .... here comes the magical moment : " Yo no taxi , $X plus meter can ? 10-20minutes wait , advance ?"
"Can go , just get her a cab ."
" Advance now , Garden by the bay one taxi ...."
First call , response : " 43 10 minutes "
"confirm proceed , wait for details ."

$2.30 prices not sweet enough , cannot one lah ....
must SOS something like $x plus meter , then sweet enough one .

i go there one time, afternoon, no pax, plan to chow liao.

if not for $x plus meter , my friend's daughter might have to wait til 4am then got taxi change shift inside find pax ....

Your topic discussion is brainless.....
If your taxi (especially evening hours) is near CDB, you still want to get a call outside CDB ? Only those cabs fetching passengers to the location will probably fetch somebody from the taxi stand.
Don't be surprised (if), the TD (whom fetched somebody there) will immediately put BUSY sign and leave the park ASAP (rushing back to CDB for additional surcharges).

Want pay more then have taxis ... try someone's else .
Want only pay $2.30 , must die die try CDG , cos they have the biggest pool of drivers .

especially on holiday period.
whatever you made for that few days may end up in paying FINES at LTA.
