Taxi damaged beyond repair by debris at Orchard

Yup thats right...a heap of cement still wet with mix ingredients of small rocks etc dropped just before sommerset 313 taxi lineup.. 2 cars badly damaged. Happen on sunday night around 10plus i think. Think total 6 to 10 cars maybe affected.
One of the worst damaged is transcab (and best part even stay at Teban my area lol)...worst with heaps of cements. I managed to escape but still tio abit so kena go lim kopi today with jasmine at 10am to report at defu lane. My car top dented a bit and front screen shield bullet crack.
Even got into arguement with my hirer yesterday morning who insist that since he already pay for front shield insurance it should be ok. Kept telling him transcab insist me to come back with car but hirer say when he free then he will go defu. ok lor since yu hirer and insist to have it yur way ..no point arguing lor.. True enuff my handphne batt went flat and hirer realise still need me to do report. Kept calling me 10 times ...Wakakaka bei tahan old stubborn mule uncle. Finally reach home after work...charge hp and call him back. So today morning need to drive to defu from tuas and back for meeting at 11am.
My manager already half sian with me taking urgent time off on such short notice but after i explain to her what happen ...my manager agree to release me and sit in for me in case im late which im sure i will be. Anyway hope everything will be fine.

SINGAPORE - Concrete debris falling down from a construction site along Somerset road damaged as many as 6 taxis that were queuing to pick up passengers at the 313@somerset shopping mall.
TODAY understands that no one was injured.
According to Mr Chanchan, a site supervisor, the accident happened at about 8.20pm when a concrete formwork at the 15th floor came apart, allowing the concrete it held to come raining down on the vehicles below.
Drivers of the damaged taxis told TODAY that the debris fell for at least one minute, and some of the bigger debris were fist size. Windshields and windows of the taxis were shattered.
Affected taxi drivers are in negotiations regarding compensation.

Well that was i anticipated based on what this forum potrayed but no...as its claim under 3rd party ...Heng liao
Anyway all is done and good for my hirer can relax for 2 to 3 days while waiting for next cab.
So my case is an example where there is still hope in the dark valley of teh shadow of death...as i take a look at myself and realise there is so much left..lol

Yup submitted claim of loss income ...claim of damaged...everything is claimable and the building engineering is paying it off thru their insurance
So no worries for now

Think Jasmine have no right to hold $2140 because that is for accident case. This one comfirm construction company must pay. And the are cover under insurance so the insurer will most likely to investigate. So either is insurance company or contruction company pay. Cannot siam one. So in this case is a 100% good case. J will not have reason to hold your money. Even if accident langa from back also no need pay the $2140 right.

My TransCab red wish kaki .... bumper got damaged by flying mobile road curb ( opposite hit the curb and push over to the opposite lane , he hit it .
Those temporary road curb placed for MRT construction work .
He sent to Jasmine , Jasmine said LTA will bear the cost , documentation of claim TransCab will do .
He happy at first .
Now he resigned from TransCab , TransCab make a claim of $2140 from him .
Why ?
For the damaged of his bumper !!!

if transcab ask you for money, you engaged lawyer to redirect the claims/losses to the construction company
